Merlin P.O.V
I slowly open my eyes, but quickly shut them again. I looked straight into the sun. I turn around and immediately jumped up on two feet! Where am I?!
I stand still as I look around. I'm in this big cave. There is this big room full of stones that lead to a wide opening. I walk towards the hill of stones, when I suddenly fall over. I hear someone groan and feel something move beneath me. I move away from the person and look to see who it is.
I gasp when I see the beautiful girl with dirt all over her face. Memories from this night came flowing into my mind. She tried to kill our future queen. She couldn't control herself. I have to help her!
"Freya?" My voice is shaking because the coldness from the night is still in the air.
"Merlin! I'm so sorry! I really am! I didn't mean to hurt yo-" I cut her of as I pull her in my arm for a hug. I rest my back against some walls as she cuddles on to my lap.
"Shh it's okey. You couldn't control it. I'm going to help you. But first you need to tell me how you still are alive?"
" I can't I'm sorry! You should leave." She whispers still letting out small sobs.
" What do you mean I should leave? I finally have you with me again! After a year! I thought you were dead! "
"You're not safe with me! Please I don't want you to be here. I need to fix some things first!"
She gets out of my lap and starts coughing. Her eyes gets darker, but quickly return to her bright blue ones!
"Freya, what's happening?"
"Please go away!" It looks like she is forcing every bone in her body to walk away from me!
"Freya I'm not leaving until I know what's going on with you!"
Her eyes turns dark and she bends down and pick up a few rocks.
"What are you doi-" she cuts me of my throwing rocks in my direction. Then she starts walking slowly towards me and look me dead in the eye.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She shouts on the top of her lungs. Forcing the words to come out. I turn around and start to sprint. What's going on? The first minute she is apologizing and seconds later she is yelling and trying to hit me with rocks!
I look behind me to see that she is running after me, but she runs into trees. Either something is wrong like she is trying to stop her self or she probably needs glasses...
Hopefully my second guess, but I feel it's the first one and I think magic is involved!
I run up to one of the secret tunnels and lock the door. I slide down with my back against the door as I run my hand through my hair. Why can't I fall in love with someone normal?
Later that day I couldn't do anything, but to worry about Freya. There had to be a reason why she acted so weird.
"Merlin" the voice of the king roamed the halls.
"Yes, sir!" I say as I walk into his chamber.
"Why are there more holes in my belt!" He clearly weren't happy and I couldn't help but to smile.
"Well it didn't seem to fit you anymore sooo"
"Merlin, are you calling me fat!"
"No, I'm just saying you are becoming more roundish..."
"Merlin?"
"Yeah?"
"GET OUT" he shouts angrily, but I can see amusement in his eyes.
I laugh as I run towards the door, but Arthur speaks out again. His voice is a lot more quiet now.
"We will find the girl. I can see that you clearly care about her a lot. I will do anything in my power to find her and that's a promise."
I nodded and said a quick thank you as I gave him a small smile.
