Chapter 15

Artemis POV

It has been 6 months since Percy died. After two months mourning him even though he wouldn't want us to. The people who took it the worst was Poseidon, Hestia, Hera, Thalia, Claire, and Me. We are hunting some Drakons, Hellhounds, the Minotaur, and Cyclops. The monsters have started to group up before they attack it is like they are getting smarter. This is what happened before the Titan and Giant War so the gods think that it might be another war. We don't want to tell the Demigods yet because we don't want to scare them.

The hunters and I were walking through the forest when we got attacked by the monsters we were hunting plus more.

I yelled, "In formation, Hunters."

Then, I said, "FIRE!"

The first line of monsters were down the hunters continued to fire there bows until the monsters were to close shot arrows, so they pulled out there knifes and in Thalia's case spear. They rushed into battle but we were getting overwhelmed by the monsters. Right as Thalia was about to get hit in the head by a club from a cyclops thunder was heard and a voice was saying, "The hero has returned, the hero has returned."

Until two figures with black capes and clothes hit the ground with a loud BOOM! They two started to attack the monsters like crazy until we had the upper hand again. They shorter one had the grace of a hunter so I assumed it was a girl. The taller one must have been a boy but he still had the grace of the hunters. They fought like a whirlwind it was crazy it took the three minutes to kill all the monsters that attacked us. When the fighting finally stopped the girl and the boy where healing the wounded hunters and me because we were all injured.

When the girl and boy were done healing the hunters they walked over to me and the boy said, "Lay down Artemis so we can heal you." The voice sounded familiar but I didn't recognize where I heard it from.

I replied, "No I won't listen to you boy."

The girl said, "Lay down Artemis,"

The voice sounded familiar again but I didn't recognize it.

I laid down this time because the girl told me to and I would not listen to boys. Well I would listen to Percy but that is different.

Percy's POV

When I saw the hunters get attacked my blood boiled. I was so mad nobody attacks the hunters they are going to pay. I was a whirl wind out there I killed everything in my path. I am sure Zoe did the same because the hunters are like sisters to use. When we were done picking off the monsters that were running away we went to healing the hunters. I was surprised that the hunters even let me heal them because they didn't know me and I was a male. When I walked up to Artemis to heal her I knew I would have a problem by just the look on her face.

I said, "Lay down so I can heal you."

Artemis replied, "No I won't listen to you boy."

Zoe said, "Lay down Lady Artemis,"

Then, after Artemis said, "Who are you?"

Zoe pulled down her hood and said, "I am Zoe former hunter of Artemis."

Artemis said, "Wait you and the boy are dating."

That made Zoe and I laugh. Zoe said, "We are not dating."

"Who are you?" Artemis asked me."

I said, "I am Percy Jackson guardian of the hunt."

All the hunters rushed forwards hugging Zoe and I. The Claire jumped in my arms and all the hunters backed away.

Claire said, "Promise me you will never leave me again."

I said, "I promise I will never leave you again."

Then when I let Claire down Thalia walked up to me hit me with a little bit of lightning and cried on my shoulder. When she was done she said, "Have fun with my sister." I looked wide eyed and then turned around and Artemis hugged me and then punched me in the stomach and said tomorrow you are going to explain everything but right now let's get to sleep.
