When they got home both Layla and Liam wanted to see the twins because they hadn't seen them in two days so they got the twins and headed to the living room because everyone else besides Caroline was still sleeping. So Layla started making breakfast as she usually did. Then Allison and Caroline came out into the kitchen. Layla knew just by looking at them that they had something they wanted to talk to her about. So they both took a seat at the breakfast bar as Layla made breakfast and Caroline was the first to speak up "hey can we talk" Layla was dreading the conversation cause she knew what they wanted to talk about. "Sure" she said with a smile acting as if she had no idea what they were talking about. "Well you know that we know about the drugs right" Allison asked "yes I no you no what is the big deal" Layla sighed "because you don't need drugs to be a singer" Caroline said "you guys don't understand what it is like" Layla pleaded sounding almost annoyed. "Ya but you know what we agreed to when we moved out here" Caroline said trying to lighten the mood a bit "Ya, ya I no that we wouldn't let fame get to us and that we wouldn't change just because of this stupid city" Layla recited "but what are you doing right now" Ally added in " I haven't changed I don't see what you are talking about" Layla said "you really don't know" Allison asked annoyed by what her friend had just said "no I don't" Layla was frustrated that they were even bringing this up "well how about you're taking drugs you never would have even thought of that before we moved out here" Caroline said. Layla was shocked Caroline was saying this to her usually they didn't talk to her about these things but then again she usually isn't the one who does these kinds of things. "I know but that was befo..." she was cut off by Allison "before you let the fame get to you" "I didn't let the fame get to me " she said rolling her eyes "fine but will you please stop taking the drugs" Caroline said sounding annoyed which was weird because Caroline never sounded annoyed at least not when she was talking to Layla. "I can't" Layla said almost starting to tear up a little "I'm addicted to them" "so what do you from here" Allison said sounding worried. "I don't know" Layla said she was obviously holding back tears but she never cried in front of the other girls. She always hid her feelings when it was involved with crying the only time she had ever cried in front of them was when her cousin had passed a few years back they never talked about it though. So she just turned off the stove and went over to where Liam and the twins were she picked up Mckenzie and then motioned for Liam to follow her as they left the room she avoided looking at either one of her friends she just stared at the floor and walked quickly. Once she was down the hallway she went in her room and her and Liam and the twins were in there for a long time they had locked the door.

While they were in her bedroom Caroline and Allison just stood in the kitchen for a few minutes amazed at what had just happened their friend who never ever cries in front of them just teared up because she of all people is addicted to a drug that she doesn't even know what it really is. "What the fuck" Allison said to Caroline completely lost and not understanding how this could happen. "How did this happen she was the only one of us who had her whole fucking life planned out and then she becomes famous and suddenly she is addicted to drugs" Caroline went to the cabinet and took out a glass to get a drink of water "what do we do she can't stop taking then because then she will end up back in the hospital" "I don't fucking know how the hell this happen" she suddenly threw the glass in her hand at the floor making it smash "we have to fix this she has fixed our lives a lot of times in the past 7 years" Allison said trying to calm Caroline down "Ya we have to but how she has just accepted that she is going to be addicted for the rest of her life and she doesn't want to fix it anymore" Caroline said "maybe we can get doctors involved" Allison suggested "and make our best friend hate us and move out and leave us all here in LA and move somewhere far far away from here" Caroline had a worried look on her face. "What makes you think she will do that" Allison asked "what makes you think she won't you saw how much she had already given up on us when we came out to talk to her about this and then when we were talking to her more about it she almost cried she never cries in front of and we made her that upset" Caroline was definitely worried now " she wasn't getting upset about us talking about it she was upset because she is addicted to a drug and she can't control when she takes it anymore." Allison said trying to calm Caroline down Caroline sighed "we can't fix this unless she wants to fix it herself" "obviously she wants to " Allison said "how do you know that though she wasn't to convincing" Caroline said "well why don't you ask her she obviously will tell you the truth" Allison said and then Kailin came out and joined thier conversation "hey where's Layla isn't she usually making breakfast right now" Kailin asked. "Well change of plans we will have to make our own" Caroline said hiding the fact that her and Allison were just having a intense conversation "why is there a broken glass here" Kailin asked now she looked worried. "Oh no worries about that I dropped it when I slipped walking back over to Ally" Caroline lied Allison gave her a confused look why was she lying to Kailin "oh ok well I'm going to just go back in my room then" Kailin said and left the room "why didn't you tell her that there is something wrong" Allison asked Caroline rolled her eyes "cause she doesn't need to know that there is something wrong with Layla" Caroline said "why" Allison asked. " because she will bother her about it" "oh" Allison said they both grabbed a muffin from the bowl on the counter and then going back to their room.

Meanwhile in Layla's room her and Liam had gotten the twins to sleep and then they were just watching a movie when Layla sat up and asked "how are we going to get off the pills" Liam sat up "I don't know" he said and he kinda looked worried but he tried not to show it. "We have to fix this" she said " I can ask my cousin she is a doctor and she won't judge us but she will help us get off this shit" Liam said he texted his cousin and she said that she would fly out to them in the mean time they were going other have to take more of those pills. Layla went into the closet where she hid the extra pills so that if something happened they would always have them. So her and Liam both took two they both took a drink and looked at each other and Layla said "I hate this so much" tears were gathering in her eyes her and Liam just hugged because there was nothing else they could do about this.
