"I asked you if you wanted to hang out at my house after the party?" I start to sweat.

"I...." Oh my how forward... perhaps I could? Oh, I need a towel. "I don't believe I can, I have to take Nepeta home." "Oh..." they look disappointed, maybe I should've said yes? "That okay! Maybe you could swing by or we could hang out some other time!" How strange they seem rather cheerful for being let down... maybe they could prove to be a friend.

You think of the party as you lay on your bed. "Maybe Equius doesn't like me..." you think out loud. Nah he seemed rather calm around me from what you heard he's usually like. You gave him your Handle and address... hmm only time will tell you guess. You continue to ponder over your new acquaintance as you surf the internet. You eventually fall asleep to (le video). Guess Equius couldn't muster up the courage to visit.

~le next morning~

You wake up to your alarm blaring on your nightstand you reach over and slam your fist on the off button adding a new dent. Ya know someday the button is just going to stick. The beaten-up clock finally quiets you lay there and stare at it. You drew a little sad face on a sticky note and put it on there to remind you not to almost break it every morning but some days you just didn't care. You nearly throw yourself out of bed to guarantee no falling back asleep. You have work today and you definitely did not want to go but you had to so you threw on your clothes and headed to the kitchen. Grabbing a (small bfast) you head out. Annnnnd, of course, it's raining. You grab your umbrella and open the door to see a sweaty blueish man standing in the "knocking" position rather wet and you hope to bajebus its rain. You also hope he hasn't been standing there all night but with the natural blue hue in his grayish skin it is hard to tell. "Oh hi, Equius water you doing here this early?"
