Nepeta stands next to you holding a cup of piping hot tea. You stare at the rising steam as the sweat drips in tandem down your forehead. She can't know right? She couldn't possibly know! " Its been so much fun having so many new people to ship the combinations are almost endless... almost.." She trails off as she narrows her eyes as if the whole living room wall wasn't big enough. "Y-yeah it's going to have to have to stretch onto the next wall pretty soon." You stutter you don't WANT her to know. Endless pestering will ensue as she tries to make it "canon" as she puts it. She'll make you ask (y/n) and what if they say no, WHAT IF THEY SAY YES?! You try to hide the new sweat with the towel but you're not sure it will work. You should leave, you're not the best with secrets and Nepeta can read you like an open book.  You feel a warm tap against your arm, looking down you see a cup of tea in a rather thick glass. One of the many she bought after you broke one of the fancier sets. Taking it as lightly as you can to not break it.... again you blow before taking a sip hoping to calm your nerves. "You're flush for (y/n) aren't you" You nearly choke on your drink. "Whatever do you mean?" You cough out trying to deny it. "I've seen the way you look at them and how you always get extra nervous around them so don't even lie I can read you like the back of my paw! Why did you tell me sooner I want to help you get together!" She says interlacing her fingers to show her point. "Well...I...Umm..." You let out a sigh and rub the back of your neck "that's what I was worried about I just don't want you to know... I don't want to rush things and I don't want our relationship to get any worse.." She stares at you for a moment before punching your arm "Well you could've just said that silly! You should know I'd respect your wishes!" "Eeehhh..." She makes a pouty angry face as you look off to the side. You both smile "I promise." She throws out her finger in < and you match them when suddenly her husktop chimes and she rushes over to see who messaged her. "Oh no, I'm gonna be late!" She jumps up and throws her coat on. "One of my new friends is taking me to some animal attraction. They said there was something they thought id like." She grabs your cup runs to the kitchen turning everything off in the process.
She grabs you by the hand and pulls you out the door with her before locking it. "Now you go and spend more time with (y/n) or at least find out more about them, cause if you take too long I will have to intervene!" She puts her hands on her hips with a raised brow "Fiiine" you say as she skips down the sidewalk in the opposite direction. You can't see (y/n) again or they might catch on to your feelings. But who knows the most about (y/n)?

After an hour of monotonous working if finally time for you to go home. You head to the breakroom avoiding your boss lest they try to get you to stay late and clock out. Making sure not to forget your umbrella, at last, you step out into the parking lot covering you eyes until they adjust from the flickering fluorescent fixtures of the store to the blinding blue beams of the partially cloudy sky. "Ah, right in the retinas!" You exclaim as you walk to your abode and a long-awaited couch that you've barely gotten to sit on all week. "Hmmm, it looks like it cleared up pretty fast." You say to yourself as white fluffy clouds drift across the atmosphere. Realizing you're already home you toss everything you're holding and face plant onto the couch. Of course the second you hit the cushions your laptop chimes and you swear to all that is holy and other that if they make you get up from your comfort surface you'll take something and shove it where it shouldn't be! 

Oh, wait, your phone duh. You pull it from your pocket and see who dares to possibly interrupt your relaxation.
