On My Own

Hi.

Hi. I’m Aurora Snape. Yeah. I know what you’re thinking. My adoptive father is Severus Snape. I know he’s kind of a… strict and well… bitter man, but I love him all the same. I’ll always love him. I go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and I am currently in my fourth year.
 
Since the first time I’ve laid eyes on him, I’ve had a crush on Harry Potter. Stupid right? I mean, he’s HARRY FREAKING POTTER for God’s sake. There is not one girl in this bloody school who doesn’t adore him. Sometimes I feel bad for him. Loosing your parents, having fame suddenly thrown upon you. To me, Harry Potter is not like what Draco says. There’s more to him that meets the eye. Or maybe I’m wrong! Besides, I haven’t even met him. And like my father, I am a Slytherin.
 
Do I like being a Slytherin? No way in hell…
 
I wish I have someone to talk to. Anyone. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been judged by getting labels. Mute. Loner. Typical Sytherin. Emo. I just want to find a place where I belong. I want people who will accept me for who I really am, and won’t care that I’m a Slytherin or that I’m Snape’s Daughter.
 
But that will never happen… People like that don’t exist… Nobody understands… Do they?
