I looked over to see Maya scrunching her nose at Charlie Gardner, "Only if Riley Matthews is invited."
I grinned at her and turned away. She hated Charlie and knew he wouldn't invite me. Then we could stay home and play monopoly and watch Harry Potter together.
I was alarmed when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to find a smirking Charlie Gardner asking me if I wanted to attend his party. I was about to decline his oh so inviting offer when I heard Lucas Friar.
"You should go, Matthews."
I turned to look at him and raised my eyebrows in response.
He grinned cockily, "Oh come on, I'll be there."
