It was Monday again. My regular morning routine continued the same as every other morning. I'm a simple person, never complex. In that case, I pretty much loved having a regular schedule for everyday of the week.

I got ready fairly quick and rushed downstairs to grab my lunch and jet out the door-- that was until I forgot my music journal. I ran back up to my room and dug around in my desk searching for the dark red book. When I had finally found it I bolted to get out of the house and in my car.

I pulled into the student parking lot and proceeded to my locker then to Biology. I walked down the hall and to the left where my locker was. As I grabbed out my books I looked to my right to see Luke.

Of course I should have known that he would be a stereotypical guy. I mean he's pretty hot so of course he would be on the varsity football team, his jersey says it all. And like all football jocks he had girls swooning over him. I of course promised myself never to become them.

I stopped staring when I noticed look walking my way.

"You want a piece of me too?" Luke joked.

"Pfft." I flipped back my hair, "Why would I be interested in you?" We both laughed.

"Walk with me to class?" I asked him.

"Sure." He shrugged.

As we approached the room I saw our teacher with Chandler.

"You need C to pass this class, when we take the upcoming test you need to have a C or higher, right now you're at a D. Skipping class isn't going to help. I'll assign you a tutor and I expect at least a B on this test."

I stopped staring when Chandler glanced over at me as Luke and I walked into the room. I took my seat and read the board. Pop. Quiz.

Mr. Brantley walled into the room, "Alright class, pop quiz. Take out a pencil and no talking until all quizzes are in." He grabbed the stack of papers on his desk and started coming around to each table.

He approached me and whispered, "Come see me after your quiz." He handed me my paper.

In twenty minutes I finished and walked over to his desk in the far left corner. He stood up and took me into the hall.

"Okay, so. I have a job for you. You have an amazing grade in this class as well as a three point eight GPA so I would like for you to tutor Chandler."

"Chandler... as in Chandler Tate?" I questioned.

"Correct? Are you in?"

"Um... sure?" I shrugged.

"Great!" He clasped his hands together and followed me back into class.

Well now it was going to be awkward. Chandler is my next door neighbor who has caught me staring into his window like a stalker. Now we were going to finally meet, something I'm not particularly excited about.

I walked back to my seat and noticed Chandler eyeing me as I sat down. I couldn't quite explain it but we had this weird attraction.

Mr. Bentley started to collect quizzes and lecture about our upcoming lab we have on Wednesday. Through the rest of the hour I couldn't stop thinking about how horrible this was going to be.

As the hour ended I got up and walked over to Luke so we could leave class together. We walked out of the room to be surprised by Chandler who was wanting to talk to me.

"I'll catch up with you Luke." I turned and watched him walk away.

"So... you're the girl who is tutoring me?" He asked in a dark brooding voice.
