BEEP BEEP BEEP. My alarm clock rang its annoying sound in my right ear.
"Ugh." I groaned as I tumbled out of my comfy bed. Thank God its Friday.
I stood up, rubbed my eyes, and walked to my closet. I picked out a slim navy blue dress. I slipped on the dress, walked to the long mirror hung by my closet and twisted back two strands of hair. I walked to the bathroom and collided into Alec as I walked through the doorway.
"Watch it!" Alec snapped.
"I'm sorry..." I apologized.
I grabbed my toothbrush in silence and stood beside Alec as we brushed our teeth in unison. I finished up and left Alec in the bathroom. I walked back to my room, packed up my school bag, slipped on my black heels, and grabbed my leather jacket on the bed.
"Mom! Gonna leave early, gotta get mu schedule and stuff! Bye!" I shouted and I stepped out into the morning sun.

I pulled into the wide drive at Mystic Falls High and parked in the student section. I grabbed my aviators out of my car and put them into my bag. I stepped out of my car and headed for the main doors.
As I made my way inside many stared, looked at me with curiosity as to who I was. I looked down and checked myself out to make sure i didn't look stupid. I was already nervous but I kept on my way to the main office.
I stopped in front of the desk by the door. "Hi, I'm MacKenzie. I need to pick up my schedule..." I trailed off.
"Okay. Last name?"
"Faye."
The lady helping me searched through her papers for my schedule. "Ah! Here we go!" She pulled out my schedule and grabbed a small book.
"Okay so, here is your schedule." She handed me the paper, "And this is your handbook, its simple, and covers everything like dress code and expectations."
"Thanks." I replied and I took the things from her.
"Good luck on your first day!"
I turned around and walked out of the room. I stepped to the side and looked at my schedule.
"Room 115, with Mr. Saltzman." I muttered to myself.
I walked around through the halls looking room to room. 112... 113... 114... 115! I stopped before the classroom and pulled out my phone to check myself. I tousled my hair and pulled my dress down. I walked into the room and took a seat toward the middle of the room.
"Hello, I'm Mr. Saltzman. My name is Alaric. You might want to pronounce Alare-ic, but it is Alar-ic. Enough about me. I'd like to introduce to you all Ms. MacKenzie Faye who is new as well as I am." He pointed to me.
I sat awkwardly as heads turned to me. I could feel my face burning as it turned to a light rose color. Attention faded away from me as a guy walked into the room. It was him again. I watched as he took the open seat to my left. I quickly turned my head away as he focused his eyes on me. I could feel my face burning again.
"And you are?..." Mr. Saltzman questioned.
"Chandler." He replied in a low mysterious voice.
"Next time I advise you arrive on time."
The hour went by rapidly fast seeing as we went over a syllabus for thirty minutes and spent the last half doing what we wanted. Sitting next to Chandler made me anxious like I was being watched and judged upon. I had a fear of everything especially when it came to things like this.
