"... It truly hurt the taller boy."

After looking around the stuffy room, Ashton's eyes landed on the most beautiful boys he had after seen. "Woah, who are they?" He breathed, staring at the beautiful boys that walked in.

"Who? Them? Those are like the most popular guys in our school. The tall one with the blonde hair is Luke, he's like the silent but strong type, ya know? And the pale one with the blue hair is Michael, my personal Favorite. He's really popular with relationships. Rumor has it, he slept with all of the cheerleaders, and their boyfriends. I wonder if he has HIV yet. " Lincoln stared at the boys with heart eyes. Ashton looked back at Calum, and noticed him staring directly at Luke. Ashton looked back to the tall pale boys, feeling as if Calum just somehow rejected him.

"Yeah, they're really popular here. Especially because Michael is pansexual and Luke is bisexual, no one in town has ever really been open about their sexuality before them. Plus everyone gets a taste of 'em. Cool huh?" Jason  grinned and tossed a French Fry into his mouth, and giggled when Lincoln tried to catch it, and missed.

Ashton picked up a cherry and placed between his lips, and look back at he two. How can a person be so beautiful? He thought. Ashton's hazel eyes roamed Michaels face with curiosity, but he froze when Michael turned and smirked directly at him. Did he hear me? What the hell... Should I be weirded out? Ashton quickly removed the stem of the cherry from his lips and looked back at his friends, who were already in another conversation about the upcoming La Crosse game. Michael already caught Ashton's attention, and they had only made eye contact.

Ashton tried to focus on the conversation, but he couldn't. He felt like Michael was trying to break into his mind. Ashton finally decided that he should look back one last time to see if Michael was still staring at him, but the spot where the blue haired boy stood was empty, and Luke staring straight at him with a curious and mischievous look in his eyes.

...

"Calum Hood Irwin and Luke Hemmings? Are you two here?" The drama teacher asked. His eyes scanned the room and he grinned when they landed on a wide eyed Calum.

"I'm uh, here Sir." Calum wearily smiled, and walked towards the grinning teacher. Who was already speed walking towards him.

"Alright Calum, so I heard that at your old school you were quite the actor, is that true?" Mr. Falesco asked and Calum nodded with a weary grin.

"Well I got the email you asked your last director to send me and I would like you to play one of the lead roles in our up coming play, Romeo and Juliet. thought that maybe we should try to switch things up and make Juliet a girl." He somehow managed to smile even more and Calum's heart filled with joy.

"I'd love to Sir. Oh! Yes I was really into acting were I previously lived. Preforming is my life!" Calum giggled and followed the teacher as the walked towards the stage where all of the students were waiting.

"Alright, so how would you like to try out for Juliet? We may already have our Romeo but he hasn't shown up for the past few days so we aren't sure if he'll even preform." Mr. Simmons sighed and Ashton quickly ran over to the teacher, ready to sign his name wherever the sign up sheet was so he could be with his Cal.

"Mr. Falesco? Sir, If whoever you had planned to be the lead doesn't show, I would love to do it. I don't have as much experience but I would defiantly like to try it." The shaggy haired boy exclaimed quickly, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.

"But Ashton I thought you didn't like act-" The taller boy quickly elbowed Calum before he could finish his sentence. Ashton didn't really want the part, but if he had the possibility to keep other boys away from Calum, he'd do it.

"Um sure why don't you get up on the stage and have Angie pull out her script for you. Go to page nine, on the beginning of the page where he begins to confess his undying love for Juliet." Ashton nodded and grappled the script from the red headed girl that was smiling kindly at him. He leaped up on the stage, but before he could even read his lines, Luke Hemmings walked in, and his heart sunk when he saw the immediate heart eyes on Calum's tan face. Ashton had no chance to somehow manage to capture Calum's attention that way, and it truly hurt the tall boy.
