"Listen to me boys, you have to be very careful around this town."

'Coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine, gotta gotta be down because I want it all,'

Ashton pulled his left earphone out as he placed the last book in his book shelf. He sighed and wiped the sweat on his forehead. "Cal? Can you hand me my water bottle?" Calum nodded and tossed it back to him.

'It started out with a kiss how did it end up like this? It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss!'

"Oh here you two are, moms got a fever so I need you guys to go and get some Tylenol from the drug store down town," Mali said, walking in and handing him a ten from her wallet, as the two boys began to slip on their shoes. "Is she okay?" Ashton asked slipping on his leather jacket.

"Yeah, her temperature isn't too high, but it's better to be safe then sorry right? Now hurry up and go. Oh and grab me a Dr. Pepper while your at it." Ashton rolled his eyes and nodded. He walked downstairs and Calum followed.

'Now I'm falling asleep and she's calling a cab. While he's having a smoke, and she's taking a drag. Now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick and it's all in my head but she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now let me go...'

"Mali can we take your car?" Ashton yelled, and grabbed her keys, "No, your not touching Kellin. Walk, you need the exercise, I know you two ate all the Doritos earlier, so you've gotta walk it off now." Calum groaned and shoved Ashton.

"I told you those were Mali's! Now we're gonna get in trouble and Mali might start telling her friends embaressing things about us again! You- you dick!" Calum swore and  Ashton stated down at the boy with a surprised look on his face. "Did you just- Did you just call me a Dick?" Calum nodded and Ashton took a step forward. "Oh you're gonna get it now,"

Calum turned and ran out of the front door giggling as Ashton chased after him chucking loudly. "Stop running you chicken. No wait, stop running you little Kiwi!" Ashton laughed and Calum turned and glared, and ran faster towards the small store.

' I just can't look it's killing me, and taking control. Jealousy turning saints into the sea.'

Calum ran in and smiled at the old woman behind the counter. "How can I help you son?" Calum looked at her name tag and smiled at 'Debra' . "My mother is sick, do you have Tylenol? Or maybe ibuprofen?" Debra nodded and smiled before turning around and grabbing the small pill bottle from the shelf behind her.

"Do you need anything else?" She asked, sneezing. "Um yeah, my brother's grabbing a soda right now." Calum ran up to the counter with a smile. He handed Debra a pack of sour skittles, and Snickers Bar, and Mali's soda. "Come again boys!" Debra smiled and handed them their bag.

'Swimming through sick lullabies chocking on your alibis, but it's just the price I pay! Destiny is calling me open up my eager eyes, cause I'm Mr. Bright side.'

"We will!" Calum smiled and walked out of the door with Ashton right on his heels. "Dude your so lucky you ran in the store," Ashton chuckled making Calum laugh.

"I know I am dude. But I'm still angry at you for that Kiwi joke. Be prepared for some - " A large puff of smoke surrounded the boys, interrupting Calum. He looked over at Ashton, to see him looking at an old man smoking.

"Um sir, can you point that towards another direction. My brother has asthma, and I don't want him to have to get an asthma attack just because someone was smoking around him." Ashton asked, pushing Calum behind him.

'I'm coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine! Gotta gotta be down because I want it all. It started out with a kiss how did end up like this? It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss!'

"Why does it matter? I'm helping watch and protect the people of this very town from them demons." The man said, looking at Ashton straight in the eye. He was very uncomfortable, and the younger brother was shivering from both the cold, and fear. "From what? Demons?" Ashton chuckled and rolled his hazel eyes. "Sir are you okay?"  He asked stepping closer to him.

"Listen to me boys, you have to be very careful around this town." The elderly man said, blowing air out of his cigar, coughing after. Ashton's eyebrows furrowed, confused at why he was sitting alone in the park - at night.

'Now I'm falling asleep and she's calling a cab. While he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag. Now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick, and it's all in my head. '

"W-why?" Calum boy stuttered, clutching the plastic bag in fear. He just wanted to go home, but for some reason his legs just wouldn't move. Almost as if he was stuck, glued to the floor. Ashton softly nudged his side, and whispered "Let's go Cal,"

"Em' blood suckers are out there. Could be watching us right at this moment." The man chuckled, blowing out more smoke, and eyed the taller brother, Ashton. "You scared, boy?" He shook his head and stared back at the man.

"No sir, I'm not. There is no such thing as vampires." Ashton coughed and Calum walked closer towards the man. Completely ignoring what his brother had said.

"V-vampires? But I thought they didn't exist. You're right Ashton, let's go," Calum muttered feeling silly that he almost believed that this man was being serious. 'He was probably just a man that lived on the streets who lost a few brain sells,' He thought, shacking his head.

'But she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now let me go... I just can't look it's killing me! And talking control.'

"Oh, but I got the scars to prove em'." The man pulled the collar of his jacket down to see two holes in his neck. Calum and Ashton's eyes widened in fear, the anxiety rising within them. They both looked at each other, and Ashton slowly backed away, tugging at Calum's jacket, trying to pull his brother back with him.

"Now, I suggest you boys go home, and remember, don't go outside past eight o' clock. That's when them blood suckers come out," The scrawny boys nodded and began to jog back towards the house. Calum was terrified of what the man had said to him, 'do they really exist?' Then to make things worse, the fog started to roll in and Calum jumped, and walked closer towards Ashton. He was terrified, but didn't want Calum to see. He wanted to be Calum's strong protective older brother, so he didn't like it when Calum saw his weaker side.

'Jealousy turning saints into the sea. Swimming through sick lullabies,'

It felt like they were in a horror movie, the moment before the stupid girl hides from the murderer, but really just brings herself one step closer to him. This was unfair, especially to Calum because he has really bad anxiety.

The wind was blowing in different directions making it cold and hard to keep their eyes open for to long. But Ashton's heart stopped when he saw three figures coming towards him, and he saw Calum looking up in fear. To say he was scared, wasn't enough to describe how he was feeling. And very quietly he heard a light voice whisper, "I found Dinner," And his earphone fell out, leaving the faint sounds of the song as background music.

'Chocking on you alibis, but it's just the price I pay! Destiny I calling me. Open up my eager eyes. Cause I'm Mr. Bright Side...'
