The Goddess' Daughter

At the stroke of midnight, a cry ring through the pack house. The alpha jumps with a start with the Luna and they run down the stairs to the source. They open the door of the pack house to see a basket with a baby in it.

The Alpha and Luna picks up the baby and looks around for the baby's parents. They shrug and brings the baby to their room. There, stands the Moon Goddess, waiting for them with their new born son.

"Moon Goddess." they said bowing.

"Stand please." she said, putting down the baby.

The Alpha and Luna stands up and the baby reaches for the Goddess. The Goddess smiles and picks the baby from the Luna's arms. She plays with the baby for a little then sadly hands the Luna's arms.

"Please take care of my baby girl as she is your own child please. Don't let her know I'm her real mom, she will figure out on her own." she said, looking at the baby.

Then she pull out a silver treble clef pendent choker with a crescent moon on the larger hole. She clips on the choker on the baby and kiss her forehead.

"Good bye Artemis." she said, smiling sadly.

"Please, protect her like she's your own." the goddess said, disappearing.

"James, do you think the prophecy will come to pass now that she is here?" the Luna said.

"Yes. For now, we'll keep it from here and say she's our baby and we had twins." the Alpha said.

The Luna lay the baby girl next to their baby boy and smiles at her.

"Artemis, you're now our baby. And either the werewolves destroyer or savior." she said as the Alpha join her.
