The Library

     The day went by fast and before I knew it I was in the Great Hall eating chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. I looked over to see Layla at the Ravenclaw table, and saw that she was looking at me. Our eyes met and we seemed to have a silent conversation.
     In our silent stare, we both seemed to agree that tonight was either the night that our dreams were confirmed or if our dreams were nothing but, dreams.
     A few minutes later Layla and I were walking to the library.
     This was going to be exciting either way it went. I always liked to find answers and now I finally will.
     As we walked to the library Layla told me about everything that has happened to her over the past week including the part about Malfoy. That made me laugh because I told her about what happened in Charms and she laughed along with me. "Yeah, Malfoy's an idiot," Layla said between laughs. This place has been brilliant, I really don't want it to end.
     "I hope this is real, this place has been the best thing that's ever happened to me," I whispered sadly to Layla.
     "Me too," she replied softly.
     "But we can't go around acting all sad just yet, for all we know this may be the realest thing ever," she said confidently.
     On that note we walked into the library.
     The library was beautiful probably the most wonderful library I've ever seen, and I've been into a lot of libraries. It was a huge circular room with loads of books lining the walls. It had a balcony lined with just as much books. There was four lines of books in front of the first line of shelves along the wall. In the corner of the library was a shelf marked "Restricted."
     "Wow," I breathed.
     I looked to my side expecting to see Layla staring in wonder at the books, but there was no one there. An arrow of panic shot through my heart for a split second then to my relief I saw Layla skimming along the books in concentration.
     She looked at me and said, "What are you waiting for, let's get some answers."
