Haley's P.O.V.

It's been a few days since I've seen anyone.

I just can't believe I met the son of the guy who helped me through my mothers death.

And I also can't believe how much of a jerk he was.

I haven't really wanted to see anyone, even Jena.

"Why don't you go somewhere today?" My dad asks me while reading his newspaper.

I sigh and pull out my phone, texting Jena.

'Do you wanna do something today?'

"Okay I asked Jena." I reply to my dads question.

He nods at me than goes back to looking at the paper.

'Sure! I'll drive over then we'll figure it out.'

I read looking down at my phone screen.

I reply a quick 'ok' then sit down on the couch to wait for her to arrive.

"We should go to a club." Jena says smiling.

"No." I reply rolling my eyes then laying back onto my bed.

"Why not? It'd be fun!" She says clapping her hands.

Last time I checked, getting hung over in the morning isn't fun.

"No." I repeat, sticking with my answer.

"Okay fine. What about Brianna's party? I heard it's gonna be huge."

"Fine. I choose that over the club atleast.." I say groaning.

Jena smiles and jumps up, running over to my closet.

"I'm borrowing a dress!" She yells.

I walk into my closet, and pull out my favourite blue dress.

"Ew." Jena says looking at my dress. "You're not wearing that. I can't be seen with you if you do."

It's not that bad. It's light blue, with sleeves that cut off at your elbows. The bottom drapes down around your knees.

"It's not that bad." I say holding it up.
