Alissa's POV:
Today's the day. The day I leave my friends and everything else at my private school in London. I'm moving to Bradford and I'm defiantly NOT excited about it. At least it's summer.
My mum said, and I quote "you're too used to the big city and how it works. I think it's time to try something new and expand your knowledge." This is sad because my so called "knowledge" is always needing to be "expanded" in my mothers eyes. Yes, I'm one of those straight A students that has a lot of friends and popularity, but don't judge a book but it's cover.
We're in the big moving truck, going to our new flat in Bradford. I saw a picture of it and it's defiantly not the best, but it'll do.

We arrived at our much smaller flat and started unpacking. A girl with dark hair and dark eyes came out of the house next to ours with a huge smile on her face. (A/N: I'm making up Zayn's family, ok? Ok.) She was very pretty and looked quite cheery.
"Hello, my name is Veronica Malik, I live right next door. The rest of my family isn't quite available right now, but I'd like to help you pack." She smiled and shook all of our hands. She seems about fourteen maybe thirteen.
"Thank you, dear! You're a great help." My mum gushed and gave Veronica a small box to take inside.
"My mum would like to meet you sometime. Would you like to come for dinner?" She asked.
"Well that would be lovely. Alissa, help this girl with your boxes!" My mum is overly strict.
"Hello, Veronica. I'm Alissa, as you heard. It's great to meet you." I smiled and helped her to my room.
"How old are you?" She asked.
"I'm sixteen. And you are?" I asked. I sound like my mother, great.
"I'm thirteen. I have a sister your age. Her name is Jasmine. She's at a friends house now but you two should meet."
"Who else is in your family?" I asked.
"Well, I have a twin sister named Victoria and an older brother, Zayn, he's seventeen. And then Jasmine is fifteen. My mum's name is Yasmine and my dad's name is Charles. Who's in your family?" She asked. That's a lot of kids.
"I have my mum, Lynn. My dad, Brian. And I have one older brother in college. His name is Aiden. I don't see him much." Thinking of Aiden always makes me a bit sad.
"Lucky! You're like an only child! That must be great..." She trails off, thinking.
"Not really. I have all the attention and I get in a lot of trouble."
"I think my mums home. I'm going to tell her you guys said yes. Bye." She waved and left my room. I think we got all the boxes. I look to my left and see a window. Across from that window is another window. That's going to be awkward.
I see a boy walk in and slump on his bed lazily. His dad, I'm assuming, walks in. This must be Zayn. His dad gives him hard looks and makes him get up. As he leaves, he looks back out the window and catches me staring. Oops.
Zayn's POV:
"You need to get up. We're eating dinner with the neighbors." My dad walks in and forces me up.
"Dad, I don't want to get to know them so why do I have to eat with them?" I ask.
"Because, they deserve respect. You're coming wether you like it or not so get up." He literally drags me out and as I'm being pulled, I turn my head to see a girl staring from the other window. A very attractive girl staring from the other window. Oh no.
