~Chapter 1~

Dean Winchester was your all-American football playing popular jock. He was a beautiful man that everyone loved. He was starting his senior year at Kansas High, and he was so excited to finally be rid of this label. But here's the thing; Dean Winchester hates being all-American football playing popular jock. His so-called "friends" made him pick on Sammy because he was a nerd. Every night, Dean would come home to Sammy crying because of what he would say to him. Dean would apologize his eyes out, but he knew that it wouldn't work. Everyday, Dean would pick on the kid. It was another home for both of them. Their mother had died a while ago of cancer, when Sammy was just a little baby. He had never known their mother, only the descriptions. Their father had become an alcoholic and beat them, called them names and broke their hearts every single day. Sam was the only family Dean really had, and now, he was mentally abusing him. And he hates himself for it. He wishes that Sammy was the popular kid, not him. Hes so smart. He wants to become a lawyer. Dean is so proud of him and the grades he comes home with. He knows he would be a good lawyer, he could persuade anyone with those puppy dog eyes of his. And now Dean was bringing him down too. He wished that Sammy would listen to his pleas. He wished that Sammy was in a better home. He wished that his dad wasn't an alcoholic. He wished for a real, true friend, one that didn't ask him to make fun of his little brother. He wished for a lot of things, not one coming true. Honestly, Dean wanted to end it all, but he couldn't leave Sammy with their dad. He wouldn't allow it. Dean was already doing everything he could to make sure their Dad wouldn't hit Sammy. Dean would purposely get in trouble at home or in school so his focus was on Dean. Dean would tell Sammy to go into his room, close the door, and hide. To cover his ears so he wouldn't hear the cries of pain that would escape from Dean. To not come out of the room until Dean told him to. To not speak of it with his friends. If Sammy ever told anyone, it could spread around and ruin their lives. Neither Dean or Sam could afford any more bumps in their lives. But neither of them knew that one person could change everything, especially for the better.
