We arrived at the cabin, everything appearing to be made out of wood. The floor had checkered tiles and the walls were painted yellow and purple. Everything appeared to be the same colour as well.
"I don't really mind who I bunk with, I would just prefer a bottom bunk if possible." Aradia looked around the room.
"Alright! You can bunk with me Aradia, and Terezi can have whichever bunk she choses!" Jade smiles brightly and looks at me.
"I would like a top bunk if possible. I like being up in the sky." I grin and look at the form of the bunks, not minding about sharing a bunk. I'd rather have my own anyway.
Aradia set her bag down on a bottom bunk, then placed mine on the bunk beside theirs at the top. "Then it's settled. I really like our cabin." She started unpacking all of her posters and sleep things.
Jade jumped up the later and onto her bunk, setting her stuff up as well. I climbed up my ladder no problem. It was much easier to see the figures and colours in an unused room.
I sat down on the top bunk and grabbed my two bags. They were very large, as I were to stay here the whole summer. One was red and one was bright teal, my favourite colours.
I grab the red one, as this had all of my clothing and blankets and such in it, and set up my bed. As expected, my sheets were red and my blanket and pillowcases teal, the blanket and pillow with a delegate black lace pattern.
After I finished setting up my bed, I grabbed my other bag. This had all of my main necessities in it, such as my sketch book, some mystery stories and of course, two of my scalemates.
I pulled out the two dragon plushes, placing them on my pillow. Pyralspite and Lemonsnout, my partners in crime. These two have been with me for ages, and through everything I have been through. I often feel bad about all the tears these guys have had to drown in, but that's what they're here for. I need them almost as much as they need me, or at least they would if they were real.
"Hey Terezi, Aradia and I are going to go meet other campers, wanna come?" Jade smiled and tilted her head.
"No thanks, I may join you later though." I smile and watch them leave, waving goodbye.
Of course I wasn't going to stay in the cabin, so after a couple minutes I throw on the camp sweater they gave me at the entrance, grabbing onto my cane as I walk out the door.
The woods are always very peaceful, as I can see most figures clearly.
But the woods here somehow seemed...different. They gave me a weird feeling, as if something was watching me. The thought sent shivers down my spine.
I decided not to think about it, as I was probably just imagining things, and headed into the woods. I eventually made it to a clearing with sun shining in the centre, reflecting off of what seemed to be a river. I looked around at all the colours, and my nerves started to go away.
But of course that didn't last long, because the moment I finally started to relax, I heard footsteps fast approaching from behind me, causing me to freeze in my tracks. I tensed up and closed my eyes tightly, preparing for the worst.
Obviously I knew this person wasn't going to be a threat, I was just mentally preparing for the worst. But the second I heard angry muttering, I knew automatically I had absolutely nothing to worry about.
