~~~ADMIN'S POV~~~
It had been about a week since Karkat and Terezi had talked on the beach, and a few things had happened since. Dave had apologized to Terezi and she forgave him, so did Karkat, but he still thought Dave was an asshole.
Anyway.
They had been doing a lot of different activities and the three had acquired a friendship together through them. They were basically inseparable. Terezi and Karkat had a lot of sexual tension however...but wE'LL GET INTO THAT LATER.
Dave had started to talk to a boy he had met named John quite a lot, and Karkat and Terezi had been teasing him lots about it. Dave talked about the boy often.
Terezi had grown very close to her two cabinmates, and they even picked up another girl named Rose. She was very friendly, into magic, and helped keep the cabin clean. The four girls often stayed up late talking about everything they had done that day and playing 'smash or pass' with the councillors and other campers.
Aradia had a thing for Dirk, which all the other girls thought was gross, but they laughed about it anyway. Jade had her eye out for the nature and beauty of camp and nothing else. Rose seemed very interested in another camper named Kanaya. The other girls had decided they made a perfect match and always made rose talk about the advancements she had made with her 'future wife.' For Terezi, she never spoke a word, so all the other girls had a suspicion it was one of the councillors, but if only they knew that she was falling for the kid with the ripped jeans and the grey eyes, and she was falling hard.
Karkat, despite pretending he hated it at the camp, had actually tried a lot of things he had never considered. He used to hate gym, but through this camp, he discovered he was actually very good at sports.
The three had basically found a safe haven away from their miserable home lives, but of course, all good things must come to an end, and when one door closes, another one opens. Make that a car door.
A young, but very tall, boy had stepped out of a car a week late. He smelled of weed and looked like what you would find in a trash can, but he made it look good. He was scrawny and had a vibe that would make anyone run at the sight of him.
Who was he?
~~~?????? POV~~~

I stepped out of the car and into the entrance of camp. Gross. I just got here and this place was already shitty. It was like the inside of a fucking forest and it made me want to go home so much more, but I couldn't.

I had to find her.

I grabbed my bags out of the car and watched my dad drive off, then started walking into the camp. It was pretty deserted and silent as fuck, but I didn't mind. Everyone was probably just hiding. Hah. It would be sweet if that were true.

Off in the distance, I spotted a group of three kids. One wearing these geeky shades, someone I used to be friends with, and the back off a head that looked way too familiar.

I smirked and started walking over, stopping a few feet away from the group.

"Hey, baby. Miss me?"

~~~DAVE'S POV~~~
Terezi, Karkat, and I were all standing around outside Karkat and I's cabin, waiting for lunch. It was warm outside, but Terezi was still wearing a sweater and jeans. It was weird, but I didn't question it. I didn't want her to whack me with her cane.
"Woah, wait a second, so, your bro owns an online store...dedicated to selling sex plushies?" Karkat blinked a few times.
"What? No. They're called smuppets. You make it sound weird." I stared, adjusting my shades.
"Dave, nothing can make that not sound weird." Terezi responded.
"Yeah, I'm with her. What do you even do with them?" Karkat tilted his head slightly while Terezi's eyes widened.
"Yeah, what do you do with them?" She cringed, as if she already knew the answer.
"Don't ask questions you don't want the answers to." I replied, then looked over at some stones freak who looked like he just escaped a circus for emo's.
"Yo, who's that?" I asked, looking back at them, then back at the dude.
Karkat looked over in the direction I was and froze, blinking a few times.
Terezi was confused, looking between us. "Who's who?"
Of course, her question was soon answered. She seemed to know who he was with two sentences. I was still confused as fuck, but Karkat and Terezi were horrified.
Who the fuck was this guy?
~~~KARKAT'S POV~~~

Why. Why are we talking about plushies that you shove up your ass.

I planned for this to be a normal day, but apparently that can't happen in the land of the Strider. First it was weird video games, then it was the reason why John hates cakes, and now we're talking about his brothers line of stuffed animals that are used for 'pleasure purposes.'

It's fucking disgusting.

If I had known Dave had a weird puppet fetish, I might've tried to avoid him much more than I originally tried to do. I had to put up with him though. Terezi thought he was 'cool.'

How, you ask? I will never fucking know.

I had stopped paying attention until I heard Dave say something and look away from the group. It was weird. He never did things like that. He usually went into full detail about sex with swords or whatever the fuck he happened to be talking about, not usually distracted by something as simple as someone walking over.

Then, I understood.

At the sight of him, every muscle in my body tensed. I couldn't move. What the fuck was he doing here?

When he spoke, I could feel Terezi tense beside me. I pulled her a little behind Dave and I, grabbing her hand, but it didn't help. She was still terrified.

This wasn't going to end well.

~~~TEREZI'S POV~~~
How does one man make so much money off of puppets that turn you on?
That's one of the questions you never thought you would have to ask, but with Dave, you ask so many of those questions that the words that come out of your mouth just make sense without really making sense.
Listening to Karkat and Dave talk about this was funny. Karkat was disgusted, Dave sounded like he could care less, and I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to stop breathing. Of course, I had a few questions of my own that I asked occasionally, but that was mostly to make Karkat even more uncomfortable and for Dave to go more in depth about why the type of felt a smuppet is made out of is very important for some reason.
However, things came to a very abrupt stop when Dave and I heard someone walking up behind me.
I didn't understand what was going on at all. Dave was weirded out, Karkat froze, and I had no idea who was standing a few feet behind me, but it made me uneasy.
"Who's who?" I asked, looking between the two boys.
That's when it hit me.
The smell. A mixture of weed, face paint, and desperation hit me like a truck, causing the knot in my stomach to tighten.
"Hey, baby. Miss me?"
His words rolled through the air and I shuddered, turning around and staring in horror. Karkat pulled me behind him and Dave and took my hand, which I didn't hesitate to hold onto, but nothing could've prepared me for who was standing in front of us. The person I had come here to get away from. The person who I couldn't stand to be around.
The person who ruined my life.
"Gamzee."
