"A long time ago, about 70 something years ago, your great grandmother was taken by a group of special scientists who called themselves The Retrievers. They didn't only take your great grandmother, Palina, they took five other young women. The Retrievers wanted to make the perfect superhuman who would obey their every command. They inseminated six women, each with 200 sperm. But this wasn't ordinary sperm. It was created and recreated. It had been made into a weapon. The sperm would fight off any disease, infection, deformation, it would make the child as perfect as humanly possible.

"One of the women had twins but all the other women had one child each and they all had baby girls. The girls looked similar. Palina named her child Maria after her dead husband Mario," I couldn't believe what she just said. This has to be a joke right. But she isn't lying, I would know, she's a terrible liar.

"They killed Maria's mother after birth. They didn't need her anymore. The girls were taken care of until they were of age to bare children. The young women were inseminated just like their mothers had been with the same sperm just now stronger and with the help of the women's genes their children should of been perfect. But something went wrong when the women were giving birth. Something went wrong with the sperm and the infants became an echo of their mothers. As a result, every child that came after the infants then have been the exact same in looks and in strengths. After the experiment went wrong the group wanted to just kill everyone and start over but someone helped them escape. I don't know who it was but... I'm very greatful."

"Wow," Lineah began, "That is a load of bull! Come on this is a joke right!?" She looked at me with eyes of denial.

"It's not a joke! Echo do you believe me? Please, tell me you do," My mother stood up and looked at me with pleading eyes. I stood up as well.

"Okay, it all make sense but... I don't want to look like you when I grow up, Mama," My mother looked at me with disbelief.

"Mija, I'm going to throw you off the roof," She smiled. "But this is serious. We need to find that girl."

"Right. This fell from her pocket I think," I pulled out the burner phone. "I'm going to check recent calls," I scrolled through the calls and there was only two numbers. One of them was called twice today and 19 other times. The other number was called once today right before she jumped at 5:42. The last number she called. It has to be someone she loves, it only makes sense.

"What do you see Echo," Hearing her say my name made me cringe. Echo. Why did she even think of naming me that. I ignored her and called the last number to be called on the phone. After 3 rings a girl picked up the phone.

"Hello? Celestia?" The girl sounded concerned. Celestia. Her name was Celestia. If she looked just like me she must sound just like me.

"Hey. Um I-" Before I could finish my sentence she began yelling at me.

"Never do that again! Understood!? I was totally freaking out! You called me and said you loved me and then you say goodbye! I thought you were going to die or something!"

"Almost did, can we meet up? Please? In an hour maybe."

"Yeah, meet me at that little pizza place we always go to." Crap. I don't know where that is.

"Yeah, could you send me the address again, I forgot. I'm going to get a taxi." She sent me the address and said I love you. I was extremely nervous and my mother only made it worse. I don't know what this girl is like. I don't know anything about Celestia or the girl on the phone.
