Chapter 10~ Missing You

{FANGIRL WARNING. Contains a little MITHROSS?}

Max's P.O.V

Today was the first day of our training. We had to put it on hold the past two days because Sky has joined us in training. Sky's armor was gold, or butter, and purple particles came off it. He wore his normal cape that he always wears, since the blacksmith ran out of cloth to make capes. But we're okay with it. Sky's armor is also gold.

Sky used his special magic ability to unsheathe his golden sword and shield. I did too.

I had to practice with Sky, while Jin had to practice with Barney. Jin yawned again, trying to clear his sleepy mind. He probably was up all night searching up fighting poses or something.

Anyway.

Me and Sky got in a fighting pose. It was kinda awkward for me, but looking at how Sky did his, I'm guessing he's fought before.

"Okay! Start!"Laurance said.

Sky lunged at me and I dodged his attack, but not before hesitating.

I balanced myself and pulled myself back up. Then I thought of him. Sky attacked me again, but I didn't react in time and got a cut from Sky's sword.

"Max! What are you doing?! Stop gazing off!"Dante called to me. I don't know what is happening to me, but all of a sudden I feel weak and feel like crying.

I miss him....

I couldn't take it and fell to my knees, my weapon and armor disappearing, my particles fading and dulling. I pant heavily and start crying. I couldn't help it. Sky came over, as well as the others.

"Max?!"Sky asked in shock. Everyone stared at me in shock as well. I don't blame them. I'm not the type to cry for a little thing like this. But I confess.

"I...m-miss Ross....I miss him so much..."I said, my voice cracking, and I pass out.

Sky's P.O.V

"I...m-miss Ross....I miss him so much..."Max said. He passes out and I catch him. We take him to Lucinda's.

We all waited outside, even Garroth, Laurance and Dante. I pace back and forth in front of the door. I growl in frustration and pull at my hair. Then I spawn my armor and weapons.

"Sky. What are you doing?"Garroth asked me.

"Doing what's right!" I walk away, about to jump onto the colorful blocks.

"No!"Jin said.

I turn around, looking at him.

"This isn't what Max or Ross would want. We need to stick together until we find out if Max is okay,"Jin said, putting on his armor just in case I tried attacking him. But I don't.

"..." I look away at the colorful bridge.

"..."

"Sky?"Laurance called.

"...you're right, Jin...I'm sorry...it just...it hurts me to see Max like that...he's never done that before, and I... I just don't know what to do..."I said, trying not to sound weak.

Jin walked up to me and put a hand to my right shoulder. I sigh.

"I feel the same...but we need to stay strong and be there for Max. And we need to start training so we can get stronger and stop Zane,"Jin said.

"...yeah...let's do this. For Max and Ross,"I said with a weak smile.

Jin smiles at me. I walk up to him and we bro hug.

"Oh my Irene. Bro hug!"Dante whispered.

"Shikular!"Barney said, getting into our Bro hug.

"Barney...can't... breathe!"Jin wheezed.

"Oh! Sorrys Jin!"Barney said, unwrapping his arms from the hug.

"Uhm....bro hug?"Dante asked Garroth and Laurance. They looked at him."What? It was just a question!"

"...we should watch over Max. Help him get well,"Sky said.

"Yeah. Let's go!"

The group walked into Lucinda's tree house and the three guards went on patrol. No matter what happens, Skymedia would always be friends no matter what. We will get Ross back if it's the last thing we do....
