"I guess he is my type."

The day's began passing quicker than the next. I was definitely in no rush to get back to school, but I was running out of things to do in spare time since I can't go to Marcel's house anymore. He's invited me over quite a few times but I've denied them all claiming I was busy helping my mum or I was too tired. I'm almost 100% sure he's realizing that something is wrong but he hasn't asked about it and I'm a little happy about that.
But it is indeed the day of my interview and I'm absolutely terrified. I don't know why honestly, I basically grew up in that coffee shop and have had nothing but good times there. I just...am anxious with everything surrounding this job. It will get me the money I need to start back with my family and get my life together for the first time ever.
But I have to get rid of the jitters and I know just who to call for that. I whipped out my phone and clicked the name with the heart emojis next to it.
"Yes Louis?" Marcel spoke answering the phone.
"I'm a little nervous. I need you to calm me down."
"How exactly am I going to do that?"
I smiled. "Literally just talk to me and get my mind off of things."
"I don't know why you have the jitters Lou, it's an interview to a coffee shop not to NASA."
He was right, and he knew he was. "But I just really need this job and what if I don't get it?...what if--"
"Babe don't worry okay?"
"It's really hard to focus when you call me babe you know." I said smiling wider than I probably should have.
He cleared his throat and laughed a little. "Sorry, I'm doing the opposite of making things better."
"No actually...you're doing good. It gets me excited about our date tonight, what is it that we're doing?"
"Nope. My lips are sealed, you're going to have to wait and see."
"Ugh! Well I tell you one thing, I honestly can't wait." I told him laughing then I looked at the time and told him I had to go ahead and leave, that I'd see him tonight and he wished me good luck. Okay here we go...

I hung up the phone smiling and shaking my head. I didn't realize how big my smile actually was until my sister strolled into the living room giving me a double take.
"What are you so smiley about little brother?" She said smiling back.
"Oh it's nothing Gem." I said leaning back into the couch with my smile still implanted.
She came over and plopped down next to me and pushed my shoulder begging me to tell her why my smile is so full in an empty room. I debated back and forth in my mind on if I should tell her or not my reasoning for the smile, but I was honestly so gitty about it I blurted it out quicker than I probably should have.
"I'm going on my first date tonight!" I shouted but didn't shout because I didn't want the entire house to know.
Her mouth dropped almost instantly and she hugged me so tightly. "Marcel that's great! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!" Then she pulled me away and looked at my current outfit. "What are you going to wear!? How is your hair going to be styled? Where are you going to go? Do you have enough money? I have an extra $20 if you need it."
