Your (e/c) eyes searched the Boston harbor for the medical supply ship, as you tied your horse to a nearby post. "Uh huh, there you are." You mumbled to yourself. You made your way over to the ship, and although it was merely impossible, you tried your best not to bump into anybody.
"Good morning lass, here for the medical supplies." The dockhand smiled, as his crew member passed down large crates from the ship. You gave the man a slight nod in response.
"For Doctor Lyle?" he questioned.
"Yes please." You smiled. The dockhand picked up a small package that was placed onto of the other crates.
"Here love, 'ave a good day." He grinned, as he handed you the package.
"Thank you kindly sir." You gave a slight curtsy and walked off. There was no rush to get back to the homestead, so you decide to have a little wander around the docks. You had not got far until you ran into large man, this sent your package flying and before you could fall with it he caught you.
"Pardon me, I did not see you there." The strange man had a strong British accent and although you had never seen him before he seemed oddly familiar. You jolted back into reality and turned to see Connor picking up your package.
"Connor." You let out a sigh of relief. Connor's face lit up as he recognised your voice. Haytham noticed the smile that started to form on his son's face and gently let go of you."Ah, I see you two are acquainted." Haytham sent a sinister grin in Connor's direction. Connor frowned at his father's subtly suggestion and hoped you had not noticed. The odds were in Connor's favour, as you were completely oblivious to the stares the two males were exchanging. You approached Connor who was holding the small package in his hand. You reached for it, however he refused to hand it back.
"Are you alright (y/n)." His deep brown eyes widened with concern. You smiled at his kind gesture, Haytham carefully watched the two of you.
"I'm fine thank you, I just had to pick up a package for Dr. Lyle." You explained. You gently took the package off Connor.
"It is a long way and I usually travel to Boston, if you wish I could collect the weekly medical supplies instead?" Connor kindly offered.
"No it is fine, truly, I quite enjoy the journey." you smiled with a slight blush.
"Is there anything I can do for you two?" your eyes scanned over the two men, searching for any injures. Haytham grinned at you, then at Connor and then back to you.
"Well yes dear, who might you be? My name is Haytham, I am Connor's father." he politely offered his hand, which you took. You were a little shocked, however he certainly shared many physical features with Connor. Connor eyes sharped, what was Haytham up to? He questioned.
"(y/n), Connor invited Dr. Lyle and I, to his homestead. It has been a safe haven for me to complete my studies." You explained. You look over at Connor who was also listening in. You smiled at him, then turned back to Haytham.
"You should be proud of your son he is very kind and generous, he puts others before himself." Haytham faintly grinned in response and Connor felt his cheeks lightly heat up.
"Anyway, I should head back now. It was a pleasure to meet you Haytham and I will see you later Connor." You smiled, you felt your face heat up again."Oh the pleasure was mine." Haytham spoke smoothly, Connor rolled his eyes.
"I should be home later tonight." Connor sighed, "Travel safely."
"I will." You smiled. Connor watched as you walked off in the direction of your horse. Another faint sigh left his lips. Oh how he yearned to tell you his feelings for you, however he doubted you would feel the same.
"My, Connor, you never spoke of such a beauty in your company." Haytham clasped his hands together as he watched (y/n) leave.
"Leave her alone, old man." Connor frowned, Haytham turned to Connor and let out a light chuckle.
"Oh come now Connor, no need to get protective, my romance days are over." Haytham chuckled, Connor let out a large huff and continued to walk.
"So, when are you going to tell her?" Haytham broke the silence again. Connor felt his cheeks burn up at his father's question.
"My personal business does not involve you." Connor frowned, as he adjusted his hoodie anxiously. Haytham silently reflected for a couple of minutes, he wonder what Connor is like when he is not occupied by a mission, or what Connor would have been like if he had joined his Order instead of the Brotherhood.
"(y/n) would make a wonderful Templar, I think red would suit her nicely." Haytham spoke. Connor rolled his eyes again, maybe he would go back to the homestead a lot sooner than he intended.
"She would clearly be an assassin, she strives to help people in need." Connor spoke quietly, but loud enough for his father to hear. Haytham knew this would end in another argument.
"Your right, she would be an assassin." Haytham blurted, Connor was slightly shocked at how easily Haytham gave up the argument.
"It would be quite simple actually, well for you, to convert her." Haytham grinned and Connor gave him a confused stare. However before Connor could open his mouth Haytham interrupted."Yes Connor, of course I will join the brotherhood with you Connor." Haytham fluttered his eyes trying his best to mimic your feminie voice.
"(Y/n) sounds nothing like that." Connor growled. Haytham chuckled at Connor's frustration. Connor quickened his pace, making it hard for Haytham to match his pace.
"Keep up, old man." Connor frowned, Haytham rolled his eyes and hurried to catch up with Connor.
