All was quiet on the night of July 31. The wind passed through the trees, barely creating a whisper loud enough to be noticed in the silence of the moonlight.
Yet, in a small house, in a small village, named not of a founder of that village, but of a great leader that hailed from there, a small cry could be heard. So small, so tiny, so insignificant, that one could hardly believe that the most powerful creature that life had ever seen was the one creating them. And, in the same house, in the same village, another cry could be heard. So small, so tiny, so insignificant, yet this time nothing special could be claimed by this babe.
Unless, of course, you include magic.
But, in comparison, one of these mere infants was far greater than the other. While one was born with the talents that it would take to preform magic in his older years, the other breathed, slept, lived magic.
The village that these mere babies were born into was none other than Godric's Hallow.
The two children's names were Marcus Hayden Potter, and Harry James Potter.
One of these tiny souls would bring an end to the dark ages of magic, and bring forward the age of the light.
This boy would learn from his mother, each night while he was fast asleep. Not his biological mother, Lily Potter, but his true mother.
Magic.
