The Darker Side

Chapter 1

It's my first day in High School , I can't make friends easily so I am worried ... My mum and dad don't really know that I don't make friends well, but they are nice . We just moved to LA because they have just got jobs as doctors, I find it strange sometimes to really talk to them because they aren't home much which is a shame .., but that's how it goes .

I slowly get up and batter my alarm clock until i finally bother to reach down and tear the plug out of the socket , stare into the mirror on my makeup table , I'm small ( well not tiny but smaller than MOST people ) blond , sparkling blue eyes and not skinny ( but not too fat if you know what I mean . )

I brush my teeth and put my grey jeans on, with my sleeveless American shirt tooked in And a small denim waistcoat , Slip downstairs grab my car keys and rush to school as I am late already.

I park my car in the only space I can find left , grab my books and rush in, looking like a complete idiot running through the reception I find my form class (tutor class) My teacher is stood at the door as i barge inside,

"We'll you must be Jennah , eh?"

"Erm ... Yes sir... Sorry I'm late sir"

I stutter, as all of my books come flooding out of my hands.

My first thought 'well done Jennah you did it again you complete and utter idiot ... I can't believe it'

Well that was me completely over ... Until I see him , he is tall , dark curly locks of hair dangle across his face , beautiful green eyes make contact with mine , elegant lips shimmer and tattoos all over his body .

He looked mean , I wouldn't want to mess with him , but sir had to seat me right next to him. I was petrified. But I did as he said and went and took a seat, I didn't want to look like a wimp on my first day back so I did what I got told.

There was a girl around the same age as me (17) sat in front of us ,she edged a note onto my table which read

Hey!

So your the new girl ...

Hah you got the best place in class, right next to the school bully

By the way my name is Elise. Nice to meet ya'

I turned the paper over and replied :

Hi :)

Yeah in the new girl,

Thanks for letting me know I think I am scared already :\

My name is Jennah

Through the rest of our class we were passing notes to each other.

It had only seemed 5 minutes but class was over and it was break, Elise showed me to my new locker which was only 2 doors away from hers , the guy I'm sat next to in class is stood in like a gang of boys who look popular and mean , everyone is smoking and passing small packets which don't look good, to each other but the guy who is sat next to me is stood there staring at me with a smirk on his face. I edge my way up to Elise's locker

"What's that guys name down there?" Slowly pointing to that guy ,

"Him? Oh he is Harry Styles! You don't want to mess with him"

"Why?" I question,

"Oh hunny you don't want to know"

I open my locker and place my books in , suddenly i feel a breath in my sholder I turn so fast my legs wobble and I fall ... But he catches me before I hit the floor , he picks me up and pulls me close to him ...
