Fairy Tail dormitories.

Azeal wasn't a morning person. The alarm clock went off and a lime green light flooded the dark room and an explosion ripped through the air. Cain then woke up , sitting up straight and searching the room for whomever was causing explosions so early in the morning. He became confused when all he could find was Azeal laying face down into his pillow on the other side of the room. "What was that?" Cain asked with a groggy voice. Azeal's answer was nearly nubile. "The beginning of the day , and nothing says 'fuck , its the morning' like an explosion" Came his muffled reply. Cain got up and put on his jeans and belt before searching for the alarm clock. "Yo dick , wheres the alarm clock?" He asked as he threw a pair of underwear at at the still-trying-to-sleep Azeal. He started digging through the small mountain of clothes around the drawers that the alarm clock usually sat on top of when someone started knocking on the door. Azeal groaned and pulled his pillow over his head and Cain looked over his shoulder at the door. "WHAT?!" he yelled. The door swung open to reveal a very angry looking teenage boy. "WHICH ONE OF YOU IDIOTS BLEW THE FUCKING WALL UP?!" The boy screamed while pointing at the wall that Cains bed sat against."What?" Cain asked as he looked at said wall. It took a moment to sink in , but half the was , indeed , gone. As well as roughly five other walls and rooms , from which some of the occupants were now assessing the damaged caused by their rude awakening , as the explosion slowly angled up towards the higher floors of the dormitories. "Hey , hey , hey asshole , wake up. We're missing half a wall , what the fuck did you do?" Cain asked while lightly kicking Azeal till he moved. Azeal slowly sat up and surveyed the damage. He sat there , just staring at it for a few minutes until their 'guest' spoke up again. "Well? which of you was it , huh?" He demanded. Azeal raised his metal hand and flopped back down onto his back. "Sorry dude , my bad." He said as he put an arm across his eyes and seemingly went back to sleep. The boy stood there with his mouth hanging open in shock. How is it this guy was so laid back about nearly destroying the dormitories? "I thought i was supposed to be the destructive one..." Cain mumbled to himself. "huh?" Cain looked back to the door "What are you still doing here? You got your answer now fuck off." He then proceeded to throw the boy out of the room and slam the door. Cain looked at Azeal and sighed as he scratched the back of his head. Azeal sat back up. "I was actually aiming for the alarm clock." He said , looking to the drawers where the bottom half of the alarm clocks remains sat. "I think you got it." Cain said. They glanced at each other and then burst into laughter. After a few minutes , Azeal stood. Apparently he slept in his torn dark purple jeans. Once again , the door swung open in a violent manner. "OHMYGODAREYOUGUYSOKAYIHEARDANEXPLSOINANDCAMETOSEEWHATHAPPENEDANDSAWTHEHOLESINTHEWALLSANDTHEYLEADSTR-" Zoe stopped mid shout and turned bright red. She now stood in the doorway of Cain and Azeal's dorm , as both boys were shirtless. Azeal looked around the room to see that it was a complete mess with debris from the explosion everywhere. "Could you like , knock , first?" Azeal asked quietly. Zoe nodded "I'm sorry." Azeal and Cain the started looking for shirts while Zoe began to wonder if she was still dreaming as she saw their well toned muscles lightly flex under their skin , until she noticed the severe burns on the left side of Azeal's chest and shoulder along with the green and black tattoo of a phoenix on the back of his right shoulder. Guilt began to set in again at what had happened to them , the pain that had been caused just for Fairy Tail to become stronger , it wasn't right. She looked away from Azeal and soon found herself staring at Cain. "Hey , Zoe? Are you okay?" Cain waved his hand in front of her face while looking concerned. Zoe's face once again went deep red as she realized she had adopted a dreamy gaze while looking at a topless Cain. "O-oh i'm fine , just get ready or your gonna be late for your first day at the academy." Zoe said before rushing out the door to wait in the hall. Cain sighed and looked down. "Sounds a bit cliche , doesn't it? being late on the first day." Cain chuckled. Azeal knew better than to keep the conversation. "You gotta move on." Cains face took on a dark expression. "Saw straight through it , didn't you?" Cain asked. "Oh please , i know you better than that." Azeal explained. "You've been depressed ever since we decided to join Fairy Tail." Azeal's voice had taken on a more serious tone. Cain looked up and stared at Azeal with tears in his eyes. "She loved me , Azeal. How am i supposed to move on after that? Hmm?" He looked as though he were about to break down into tears , and Azeal knew just how bad he wanted to. Azeal steeled his nerves , he knew how Cain would hate him for this. But it was for his own good. "Cain , she didn't love you. She pitied you , felt sorry for you. She felt bad for how she had treated you , and she wanted to make it up to you." Azeal's voice was one of annoyance , one that made it seem as though he was tired of his friend mopping around and wanted his to get over it. But Azeal felt sick as he told his friend that the girl he loved only felt sorry for him. Cain stared at his best friend and a single tear rolled down his cheek. He grabbed his shirt and trench coat and walked out of the room. Silence set in as Azeal slipped into a white button up shirt. Zoe quietly stepped in , obviously concerned. "I heard what you said to him. What you just said to Cain. I heard how you hurt him. Why would you hurt him like that? Why would you tell him that the girl he was in love with only felt bad for him? I mean , i thought you guys were like brothers , and then you do that to him?" Zoe's voice was thick with disbelief. "I said that to him , to save him. If he thought that the girl he had loved had been killed by those around him , how long do you think it would take for him to snap? How long before he turns on everyone because they killed the one person who he loved? After what i told him , he'll feel down for a few days , try to figure out what he did wrong , what was wrong with him , try to figure why she didn't love him back. And slowly , he'll release his anger , his rage , instead of letting it build up inside of him , so he won't store it up for months on end. Then have a bad day and unleash it upon everything. So by saying that to him , i just saved us all , including himself."
