1203 , 7th of May.
Tenrou Island.

Rogarae stood back and watched in horror as those he had worked so hard to unite were decimated by a single man. Azeal bore a wide grin as he plunged into battle and rampaged through his enemies with a chaotic sparkle in his eye and insane laughter twisted with the sounds of foes falling in pain all around him. Brushing back his white hair , he stepped back , ready to flee the battle between Azeal and the small alliance. "Brother , where are you..." He thought as he turned and ran into the forest , trying to get away from the sounds of pain and defeat at the hands of he how had no humanity. Rogarae burst from the undergrowth and feel over the sloped banks of a small stream. The cold shocked him into realisation. "W-what have i done..." He whispered to himself while standing in the cold stream as he looked back the way he came. The silence of the forest surrounded him as a shiver ran down his spine. "I'll tell you what you've done. You gathered a strong force of hopeful wizards , promising them revenge for a guild master who didn't deserve his title. You lead them to he how committed the murder of said guild master and left them there , you abandoned them , as the killer went on a rampage and is doing whatever atrocities he pleases as we speak." The man's voice was so deep and smooth. Rogarae could listen to it all day , if not for the fact that he had thought he was alone in the dark. Spinning on his heels , Rogarae's eyes darted across the small opening in the trees on the other side of the stream. Focusing on any and all movement , Rogarae stood petrified as his mind ran though who could have crept up behind him so silently and hidden any magical power they had so expertly. A few minutes passed and Rogarae relaxed , confident his ears were mistaken. "That was an attractive voice though..." He thought to himself. "By Mavis , you are blind." Rogarae's eyes snapped in the direction of the voice in an instant. Its origin was hidden in the shadow of a large willow tree. "Show yourself!" He demanded. "Um , no. That would defeat the purpose of my hiding in the first place." Smirking , Rogarae began to confidently towards the hidden man in shadow of the willow. "If you don't face me out here , then i'll have to face you in there." He said as he stepped into the dark and froze as terror began to seep into his bones and he started trembling. "I have no interest in fighting you , if you were wondering." Cain muttered with closed eyes as he sat on a small boulder at the base of the tree he leaned against. Sweat began to trickle down Rogarae's face , despite the cold breeze. Cain stood up and walked towards him as every instinct , every atom of his being wanted to run , knowing just how powerful and dangerous this man is. "P-please don't k-kill me." Rogarae begged. A frown etched itself into Cain's forehead and he tilted his head to the right. "I thought you were supposed to be powerful , fearless assassins or something. But you , hmph. If i had to pick anything to represent what pure fear looks like in a person's eye , i'd pick you." Now shaking due to their close proximity , Rogarae couldn't even reply. "Any reason who i should be here?" Came a sweet and soft voice from behind the tree. Cain looked down and sighed. "Cause we still need to sort stuff out , just wait there. This won't take long." Rogarae's jaw started rattling as he tried to speak. Seeing this , Cain adopted an apologetic look. "Oh i'm not going to kill you , gods no. I don't do the whole killing thing. Really." Cain assured him and Rogarae visibly relaxed , if only a little. "No killing is more Azeal's thing , unfortunately." He muttered while rubbing his forehead. Rogarae paled a slightly. "But , answer my questions and i will make sure he doesn't kill you." Cain offered , to which Rogarae accepted with vigorous nodding. Cain smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Good , i'm glad we could reach an understanding. Now , Zoe could you please take our friend here-" He said as he clasped a hand on each of Rogarae's shoulder and stood beside him , directing him around the tree to where Zoe sat patiently. "-To the ruins not too far from here and keep him there please?" Zoe frowned. "Why should i? I have no interest in the task." She said with a huff and turned to the side with her arms crossed across her chest. Cain sighed. "You're right , i'll walk him to the ruins while you go find Azeal and stop him from destroying Fairy Tail's holy grounds." He said , and grabbed Rogarae's elbow to lead him away. Zoe paled and an image of a rampaging Azeal crossed her mind. "Actually , now that you mention it , i'd love to take him to the ruins." She said with a fake smile and over enthusiastic attitude. Cain's smile mimicked her's. "Great! Oh , one more thing." Cain pulled Rogarae closer to him. "You lay a finger on her and i'll rip you apart , nice and slowly." He whispered , even though he knew Zoe could here him , with rage soaking his voice. With that , he gave Rogarae a slight push away from him and smiled cheerfully. "Well then , take care!" He said as he waved and walked off. Zoe and Rogarae watched as he vanished into the night. "He's a bit weird isn't he?" Rogarae asked Zoe , who merely nodded. "Besides , it's not like i'm going to lay a finger on you." He scoffed , to which Zoe tapped her ear with an urgent look on her face. "I-i mean , i'm not saying you're not attractive , but it's just that i play for the other team..." He blurted. Zoe smiled as they began to walk to the south with the sound of Cain laughing in the shadows of the forest behind them.
