What Happened?

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. My eyes shot open and the first thing I noticed was the beeping noise. I'm in a hospital.

Trying to sit up I immediately lied back down when I noticed that a needle was pulling at my skin.

"Doctor she's up, Dr. Forest Fawn is up!" A nurse came running into what I'm guessing was my room.

Soon after her a young doctor around 21 came in.

"Hello I'm Dr-"

"Wait, you look familiar, you're Andrew f_from 5th period, what is this some kind of joke."

"No you ha-"

"We're only 16, you're not old enough to be a doctor, what happened to me, why am I here?!"

This couldn't be real, what was this some kind of sick joke for everyone at school. I'm fine with them not liking me but don't go and put me in some weird fake hospital.

"This isn't a joke, I'm sorry to tell you this Fawn but you've been in a coma for 5 years."

I was shocked. What would I do now, will I even have a place to live. I mean the only family I know of is my father and he's not someone I wanna deal with.

I thought I was getting out easy but I just made everything worse.

I lied back on the hospital bed and closed my eyes, trying my best not to cry. I don't need their pity.

"You can leave as soon as we make sure everything is ok, and I know I wasn't the best in high school but if you need a place to stay Id be happy to have you over." Andrew flashed his pearly whites at me.

He makes me sick, he was more than "not the best" in high school no way would I ever live with him. Ill take my chances on my own.

"unfortunately since you are 21 now we can provide you with a home, the best thing to do would be to find some family to stay with." The nurse whose name I did not know smiled at me.

I sighed and got out of bed, of course they couldn't help me. It's not like they really want to anyway.

I change my clothes, not bothering to look for a comb to do my hair or even the slightest bit of make up. i didn't even bother to look in the mirror...

Making my way to the front of the hospital, I hear someone call my name.

"Fawn, Fawn, wait up!" I stop and waited for the unknown nurse to catch up to me.

She stopped beside me and panted and caught her breath. "I wanted to offer you a place to stay, since you,know you don't really have one." She said slowly to see how I would react.

Without giving the offer a second thought I said no and walked away. u was not some charity case, I,could make it on my own.

But could I really make it out here on my own. I don't even remember what year they told me it was.

How will I survive......
