Another day came and Galatea visited the island of Sicily once more for her precious Acis.

"Acis my love!"

"Galatea..."

Acis was so happy to see his most treasured maiden.

"Galatea my love, will you marry me?"

"Yes my dearest Acis!"

They were so happy.
But their happiness broke into silence when giant stomps were felt in the island.

"Galatea!" Polyphemus called out.

"Acis, we need to hide. I think the giant is coming this way..."

"What do you have to do with that giant?"

"He loves me Acis. I bet he's looking for me."

"I won't let him hurt you Galatea..."

"He won't but I think he will hurt you Acis. Let's hide!"

Galatea and Acis hid by the trees but Polyphemus detsroyed every tree in the fields so they escaped to the coast.

They hid in a big stone.

"Galatea, I can't live like this anymore. Come to me..." Polyphemus called out.

Galatea and Acis listened to Polyphemus as they hid.

"You're as wild as the waves in the sea, as beautiful as the blue sky and fairer than the sun... please come to me my sweet Galatea!"

Galatea held Acis's hand and he kissed her forehead.

Polyphemus was about to lose his patience. He looked everywhere and gazed at the big stone.

Galatea and Acis were about to escape.

"The both of you!"

Polyphemus groaned when he saw Galatea in the arms of another.

"Acis come with me!"

Galatea invited him to swim with her to the oceans but Acis didn't hear her so he ran to a different direction.

Polyphemus threw a boulder to Acis and it buried him.

"Acis!" Galatea called out as her heart broke into pieces.
