There's just one thing
You need to know"Jay! You idiot!" Mark yells.
Mark is Jay's best guy friend. "I know."
"Jay he could've died. He's in the hospital right now."
"Once my mom finds out, I'll be the dead one."
It had been a week since Jay hit Tyler.
It had been a week since Jay froze.
He was frozen in his place
In this world and
In time and space.Cie wanted to cry. Tyler might be dead.
She wanted to hurt Jay like he hurt her.
"Jay." She said, standing next to him outside the school.
They always walked home together. "Cie. Hey. I'm so sorry. About Tyler. How are you doing?"
The two started walking on the sidewalk towards their homes.
"I'm still angry with you, but my mom says someone has to be with me when I walk home."
Jay drops his head and looks at the ground ahead of him. "Oh."
After a few minutes of silence, Cie phone starts to ring. She answers it. "Hello?"
"Hey, Cie it's Tyler."
"Oh hey!" Cheer hops back into her voice. "Not dead?"
"Nope. They put some healthy blood in me, and put me on an iron medication."
"That's great. When will you be back?" Cie blushes.
"Soon. Most likely next week, unless something happens."
"Okay. See you soon Ty."
But something did happen.
And Cie could feel the cold again. It followed her like a shadow.
