Paige POV
Three months after I met MDE, all hell broke loose in the institute. I was wake up by the intercom calling for me, and saying I had two minutes until an emergency meeting with the Rebels. I forgot to mention. I'm their leader. I shot up out of bed and got dressed, and then I made it to the tech room just in time. The institute used to be a college, and so there is a lot of technology things you wouldn't have in a normal house. I walk into the tech room to see everyone staring at the smart board. On it, the list of incoming people for the institute. I start reading down the list tying to find out what's the big deal is when I see it. Fuck.

"Why isn't Bryan on the list?" I look around, looking for someone with the answers. A girl raises her hand. I recognize her as Livia, a tech operator with a love for Dan and Phil and Undertale.
"Well, the thing is, Bryan tried to fight the Apprentices and, well, they killed him." She starts crying, along with many others in the room. I look down, tears blurring my vision. I cannot cry, I need to stay strong for the others here who live MDE as much as I do.
I breathe in. Out. And then I look up. Everyone is crying and I need them all to focus.
"Please. Everyone I know this is hard. But the others get here in less than an hour, and we need to figure out rooming and a was for them to escape".
