"Happy birthday!"

"Dad! Mom! It's my birthday!"

"It's our birthday."

"Whatever."

The two young children looked up at their 'parents'. The "mom" was actually England, a male, and he hated the nickname.

"I'm not a girl," he huffed.

"No, but you are the girliest," his partner, France, pointed out.

"I am not!"

"Whatever you say, Angelterré."

England scowled at him for a moment before turning to the children and beckoning them towards the kitchen.

He handed the children each a perfectly wrapped box from the kitchen table, "Here is your birthday present."

America squealed and ripped the paper off the present, "I got a bat and a glove! Now me and Mattie can play baseball!"

Canada smiled as he held up his toy car, "Thank you."

France grabbed a cake out of the fridge and stuck two candles in it, "Time to blow out your candles. Make a wish!"

England smiled as the two boys blew out their candles, "Happy birthday!"
