Lexi's POV
"WELCOME HOME!!!" Everyone screamed, scaring me off of my feet. As I clumsily fell back, Tyler caught me and lifted me up. I quickly scanned the room in shock. Standing directly in front of me was Joey Graceffa, a party blower in his hand and a drink in his other hand. Almost everyone around him was holding a red cup filled with a clear liquid. Joey had the biggest smile on his face as he put his hands in front of his mouth and started to speak in a high-pitched voice.
"Oh my god, you are SO cute!!!" He squealed, picking me up and forcing me into a tight hug. Afterwards, he kneeled down like Tyler did beforehand and spoke to me like I was six. "What's your name, sweetie?"
"Lexi," I said, looking down at the floor. Joey then stared at me like I had done something amazing and he nodded as he slowly spoke.
"I like it! So how about you go meet the others while I talk to your daddy for a second?" Joey then quickly walked away with Tyler as I stood there awkwardly. Troye Sivan wasn't talking to anyone at the moment, so I decided to go over and chat with him.
Tyler's POV
After Joey finished speaking to Lexi, he grabbed my arm roughly and quickly dragged me to the other side of the room.
"Are you sure you want to actually do this? We don't know what this girl has gone through. You've barely been able to take care of a plant before." Joey said, concern filling his eyes. He had a point, but I know I'm responsible. Plus, this girl has already trusted me with her well-being. I'm sure I'll be a great dad.
"Don't worry about her. I'm responsible enough to care for her. Besides, she's smart enough to let me know if she needs anything. Just go and enjoy the party!" I said, easing his worry. I led him near the rest of the guests and offered him a beer from the cooler while getting one myself. I took the first swig, and I was in heaven. It felt so good. I continued drinking and wandered over to Shane Dawson, who was here because he had nowhere else to go.
Troye's POV
I stood with my drink, quietly listening and occasionally nodding to what the girl had to say. She told me a big about herself, and I returned with a bit about my YouTube career. I was starting to stare into space when she asked me a question.
"So, what's your current relationship with Tyler?" Lexi asked nonchalantly, looking up to me.
"We're good friends. We've done collaborations on our channels before, and he's a lot of fun to be around. Sometimes..." I continued talking, but eventually I lost track of my words as I looked over to Tyler, who looked like he was having a bit too much fun. Tyler had a beer in his hand as he was talking to Shane, and he had a big smile on his face as he didn't stop drinking. After several minutes of this process, Shane put his hand on Tyler's arm, wearing a concerned frown on his face, and asked something, but I was too far away to hear it. Tyler threw his hands in the air and said something while laughing and his face turning red. Shane talked to him a bit more, but Tyler stopped him and said something while giggling uncontrollably. He wandered over to me, his face bright red from laughing. He messily adjusted his glasses with one finger and threw his words all over the place.
Lexi's POV
Tyler walked over to Troye and leaned in close to his face. He chuckled before continuing. I could tell the tension was high.
Tyler muttered something into Troye's hear. After speaking, he threw his hands up in the air and said something strange.
"I dunno, I kinda wanna see if I can try! I dunno!" Tyler said, laughing.
"Please stop drinking Tyler. You're already drunk," Troye said, taking the beer straight out of Tyler's hands. "I don't want something to happen to you."
Tyler stopped for a moment. His face turned into a mix of anger and confusion, but it quickly disappeared as he started laughing again.
"Alright, but don't catch me anywhere again." He said, leaning in close and grabbing his shoulders passionately. He stood there for a moment, smiling, before wandering to another room, most likely his bedroom.
"So..." I said awkwardly, looking at Troye with confusion.
Troye responded calmly, looking like he's done this a million times before. He grabbed the other guests and ushered them out, closing the door behind them. He turned to me while grabbing the cups on the floor.
"I think you'll have to head to bed at this point. I doubt Tyler will be waking up anytime soon."
"He hasn't really shown me around yet. I don't know where to go." Troye led me to a bedroom. It consisted of a fully made bed, a desk and chair, and a bookshelf. It also had a necklace on a dresser that was a translucent, reflective blue and was in the shape of a heart. I slowly picked it up and examined it carefully. It has a rectangle carved into the middle, with the name "Lexi" engraved in the rectangle. I smiled for a second before turning to Troye. "How did you know my bedroom would be here?" I asked, questioning the use of this room beforehand.
"He was so excited about picking you up from the adoption center. He showed me absolutely everything in here, including the little gifts scattered across this room. See you later." And on that note, he left the room with a cup in his hand, quietly closing the door behind me. I started to wander around the room, examining everything with extreme detail. The bookshelf was carefully hand-carved, made obvious by the imperfect markings and little pieces of wood sticking out of the shelves. The chair was also wood, but had a white coating and a small, wooden engraving of a rose on the back. The bed had three pillows on it, one pink, one white, and one yellow. I went back to the bookshelf. In it carried a single book, with the title "The Book Theif". I lightly brushed the book with my hand before walking back to my bed. Before getting in, I went back to the book, grabbed it with my hand, and jumped back into the bed. I opened the first page and started reading. After the first few pages, I realized how tired I was, and I laid the book softly on my body while I fell asleep.
Hope you enjoyed! I spent a couple hours on this one. Once I started writing, I couldn't stop! Recently, I've found myself desperately searching the comments looking for feedback. Don't be afraid to comment!
Well, that's all for today! New chapters every Friday!
Love,
Sam.

Adopted By Tyler Oakley [DISCONTINUED]
FanficHe was okay at first. Then he forgot about me, so I demanded he take me back to the orphanage. I no longer called him Dad, he didn't deserve to be called Dad, not after how he treated me. Sometimes I wish I was never adopted by Tyler Oakley.
