Doomsday

It hurt

Everything hurt.

I could hear the sounds of metal men moving outside. Marching among the hallways. Humans were screaming.

My skull was pounding in my own head.

What the everloving fuck is my future self doing?!

Needless to say, we were fucked.

"What's down there?" Jackie continued to plead which was actually becoming more bothersome as my headache worsened. "She was in that room with the sphere. What's happened to Rose?"

"I don't know." The Doctor snapped at her. He had my head in his hands, looking into my eyes for any obvious signs of pain. There wasn't any now- the headache had past when the Cyberman made their way inside. "Anything Terra?"

"No- it's passed." I replied. "Also now Jackie is crying."

"Bloody hell." The Doctor mumbled. He turned towards the crying Tyler. "I'll find her. I brought you here, I'll get you both out, you and your daughter." The Doctor promised. "Jackie, look at me. Look at me." She looked up, tears still pooling in her eyes. "I promise you. I give you my word."

Jackie swallowed, more assured by that. She glanced at me. "And you. Terra. Are you alright? You looked hurt."

"Better." I replied. "I'm better now." Though as to how my younger self is doing, who knows?

The Cyberleader marched up to Yvonne. Though my hearts had no compassion for her, it wasn't filling me with delight to see the Cybermen at work.

"You will talk to your central world authority and order global surrender." The Cyberleader ordered her.

"Oh, do some research. We haven't got a central world authority." Yvonne replied.

"You have now. I will speak on all global wavelengths. This broadcast is for humankind." The Cyberleader ordered.

The Doctor slipped on his 3D glasses. I pulled mine out too. The Void stuff was floating around the Cybermen.

"Cybermen now occupy every landmass on this planet, but you need not fear. Cybermen will remove fear." The Cyberleader informed the populus, recording itself via an Cyberman's blank eyes. "Cybermen will remove sex and class and color and creed. You will become identical. You will become like us."

A few minutes went by in tense silence. And like the worst kind of jump scare, gunfire and screams came out from the street below.

"I ordered surrender." The Cyberleader stated. He marched to the windows. The Doctor and myself moved to join it. Jackie followed, with Yvonne soon after.

"They're not taking instructions. Don't you understand?" The Doctor ranted. "You're on every street, you're in their homes, you've got their children! Of course they're going to fight."

"That's human nature." I added. "They don't take well to instructions."

After a multitude of screaming, the Cyberleader reported something that made me feel chills. "Scans detect unknown technology active within Sphere chamber."

"Cybermen will investigate." A Cybermen reported back.

"Units ten six five and ten six six will investigate Sphere chamber." The Cyberleader commanded.

"We obey." The Cyberman marched away.

Downstairs, a Time Lady pressed her ear against the door. She heard marching- robotic marching that sent a chill down her spine.
