~Edge of Gotham City, 00:15 •August 4th, 2010~

Rob and I paid no mind in striking a conversation as we (more like me) flew towards Gotham City. His tech hologram was never put away, always on his wrist to track the cargo taken from the monkeys which was identified as two red dots closing in on each other.

After about a short 10 minute flight we were already at Gotham City's boarder lines. During that time, I thought about what I had done. I have disobeyed both my mentor's and my leader's orders. This was gonna get me in so much trouble with Batman. And Aqualad...Kaldur...my gut twisted at him being mad at me. I didnt like it. It was like stones in my stomach. But was I being a hypocrite? Bitching to my teammates about working together so things could get done efficiently but now I'm doing things on my terms? But I was still with the team. I still planned on finishing the mission with them. So I'm okay......right?

We were flying over the highway that, if traveling by car, connected back to where the Cargo was taken from us. We had just passed the 'Welcome to Gotham' sign. "Rob, ask Kid if hes close by."

"No need." He retorted, pointing down to the highway to see the obvious streak of yellow and red zooming down the line of asphalt.

Slightly creasing my wings against myself, I decreased my own speed and altitude to the point where Kid and us were side by side.

Immediately my brows furrowed when I saw Kid smirking at us. "Whatever you do, Rose, don't let go."

Isn't that a Titanic reference? I looked down and felt my own IQ drop on how stupid his joke was. Here I was, holding Rob against me with my arms around his waist and his arms on mine so that he wouldn't fall. Almost exactly how Rose and Jack are positioned at the tip of the ship in the movie.

In response, I squeezed in close next to the speedster, flapping my wings down then throwing them back up harshly to slack him upside the back of his head. Rob's infamous chuckle was set off as Wally tripped over himself for a second at the unexpected force.

"I greatly anticipate the day where I'm no longer the only one who sees the need to get you to grow up." I grumbled.

Rob rubbed his thumb over my forearm that wrapped around his chest calmly, a relaxing gesture to remind me that it was Wally. I curtly nodded and smiled, silently thanking him.

"So KF, you changed too?" Rob asked, gesturing to Wally's yellow and red tights.

"You kidding?" Kid snapped begrudgingly then grimaced. "I feel naked in chivvies." My mind nearly traveled to that image but I stopped myself just as quick. I did not need to even guess what that looked like. I beat my wings one more time to get a new draft of air to keep us afloat. "You still tracking the parts?" He added.

Rob nodded, pressing on his tech to zoom into the map of where the two dots were converging together. "They were heading through Gotham, but they veered. Wait..." He paused. And it wasnt the kind of pause for dramatic effect. This was a 'oh shit' kind of pause. "Dude, they're at my school."

"Why in the Gods' names would they want to go to Gotham Academy?" I questioned aloud. I mean, there was no point. Gotham Academy is one of the most highly funded schools in the U.S but I seriously all of this wasn't about money.

I was expecting some sort of ingenious idea to come from Rob and a sarcastic remark from Kid but it was dead silent again. Curiously, I looked back towards the two only to find their faces dropped with pure disbelief and surprise. Robs head turning as far around as he could get so see me. "...what?"
