Your head was spinning. You didn’t know why you said the things that you said.

“I feel used, but he didn’t even use me.” You whisphered to yourself

You grabbed your pillow pet from your room and snuggled on the couch. Until the phone rang.

You stared at the phone, praying is wasn’t GD. You finally got the courage to pick up the phone.

“Hello?”

“Hey! ________. What’s up?”

It was your brother, Caleb.

“Hey Cal.”

“What’s going on? You sound like you’ve been crying.”

“Uh no, I’ve just been watching some chick flicks lately so.. anyways, how’s the honey moon?”

“Oh it’s great.. Me and Jae are having an amazing time in Russia.”

“Nice. When are you coming home?”

“Uh.. about that.. Jae.. Mom and Dad met Jae about 3 times.. and I want her and mom to have a connection and her parents are moving to the U.S. to get to know everyone more so.. we’re moving back to Indiana.”

“Wait.. when did you decide this?”

“It kinda just came up.. and we’re trying to get a family started so.. Jae needs as much female support as she can.”

“Where are you right now Caleb?”

“Oh well, that’s not the issue right now I just—“

“Caleb. Where.are.you.”

He let out a huge sigh and said

“We’re in Indiana.. I wanted to know if you could ship the rest of my stuff back home.”

“What the hell? How can you just get up and leave?”

“I’m sorry. But Jae wants to know what the states are like. Her English is above average and her parents want to learn and all these things, so that comes into play. I’m sorry, sis. But please. I’ll visit you and I can always—“

You slammed the phone down. There’s that feeling again. You world was turning upset down, again.

You woke up and walked to the bathroom. You looked at yourself in the mirror. You let out a huge sigh and turned the shower on, washing away all of your emotions. Forget putting on makeup, forget flat ironing your hair.

You walked out of the shower and combed through your hair, leaving it curly.

You went into your room and grabbed your pullover hoodie and leggings. You walked out and ventured into town.

You found a café to grab breakfast at.

You ordered a muffin and some coffee.

“Excuse me ma’am, the gentleman over there sent you this strawberry short cake and this note.”

You smiled a fake smile at the server and took the note.

“GD…”

You picked up the cake and angrily walked over to the table. It wasn’t GD, it was your ex boyfriend, Jamie.

“Hello, _______.”

The panic began to set into your body.

“Long time see. Have a seat.”

You shot him the best glare that you could and proceeded to leave.

He grabbed your wrist tightly.

“Sit.you.ass.down.” he murmered as he pushed you back.

You slowly sat down on the other side.

“Now, why aren’t you enjoying the cake  I sent you? Better yet, why haven’t you returned any of my messages?”

You couldn’t answer. You looked down playing with you hands.”

He reached over and grabbed your face.

“Answer me.”

You squirmed away, swatting at his hand.

“If you don’t open your damn mouth.”

“I left because you’re over controlling.”

“Oh? Me? Controlling? I gave you the best damn life. If I didn’t let your broke ass family play you into my  pagents, you would of still be living in some shit hole. Your debt to me to still unpaid.”

“You think you won because you’re beautiful? It was FIXED, all of it. You have a debt that will take YEARS to repay. So either you pay me with cash, or you pay me with your body.”

You began shaking. You couldn’t move or look at him.

“Well, with that being said. Let’s go.”

“No, Jamie, I’ll pay you in full, I’ll—“

“Shut the hell up.”

He grabbed your wrist and pulled you out of the café.

“Get in.”

He pushed you into his black BMW and followed in after you.

“Driver, to my house.”
