A couple hours later I woke up, remembering the events from a little while ago and that there was a gorgeous guy asleep on my couch.
I took a quick shower and made myself up the best I could before pausing at my door.
What if he left?
What if it was all a dream?
With anticipation coursing through me I cautiously opened the door, preparing my self for disappointment.
There he was still asleep on the couch, his arm dangling over the side, a look of peace on his face. I silently thanked God and crept out into the living room.
It was about 12pm so I started making food, hoping that a simple sandwich was ok with Richie.
I turned around when I heard stirring coming from the living room to see Richie sitting up, hair disheveled and a drowsy look on his face.
"Afternoon." I called out, putting the finishing touches on the food. "You hungry?"
"Sure sounds great."
I sat our plates down on the coffee table and we ate as Richie flipped through the TV channels.
"Thanks for the food. Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah considering how late we got in I passed out."
We chuckled and reminisced about our evening until Richie said "I honestly can't believe I met you. It seems like fate I tripped into you. I had a really great time last night. Is it weird how well we get along even though we just met?" He looked at me and gave me a bashful smile."I know what you mean. No ones ever really seemed to get me before but we just-"
"Click." He completed my sentence, smiling even bigger and a felt a tug at my lips I couldn't fight and my mouth spread into a grin.
"Crap I gotta run, I got rehearsal! Hey listen is it cool if I come back around 5? We could hang some more before you go to work?" He hurriedly said, running to put his dish in the kitchen, shoving his hat on his head.
"Sure sounds great. Have a good rehearsal. You'll have to play something for me sometime."
He rushed towards the door but abruptly turned around, gave me a quick hug, and said "I can't wait to see you again." so fast I didn't even have time to process what had just happened before he was out the door and on his way.

I tried to keep myself busy for the next couple hours but I was dying with out Richie around.
All I could think about was seeing him again and how much fun we had last night.
Finally I heard a knock at the door and almost tripped over myself trying to open it.
"Thank goodness you're back." I greeted, trying not to look too eager and failing. But he seemed just as excited as I was as he strode inside, giving me a squeeze on the arm.
"Gosh that felt like forever, I'm so happy to be back here. When do you have to go back into work?"
"Not until 9:30 so we've got a couple of hours if you wanna do something." I was way too excited to spend time with him, and waited in anticipation to see what he wanted to do.
"We could go wonder around a while like last night, get some dinner, my treat." Richie said, flopping down on my couch like he'd done it a thousand times before.
"Sounds great, let me go and change really quick."
"Actually could I take a shower? I walked all the way back here and I kinda wreak." He giggled and I couldn't help but smile back.
I got him some towels and took him into the bath room which was through my room.
While he showered I changed into some jeans and an AC/DC tshirt, nothing too fancy since I was just going to have to come back here and change for work.
Over the sound of the running water I could hear Richie singing The Wind Cries Mary by Jimi Hendrix, his voice, though muffled by the wall, absolutely breathtaking. It was powerful and so well shaped, yet slightly rugged and scratchy. I couldn't help but be disappointed when the water turned off and the song was over.
He came out several minutes later and to my surprise and delight, only wearing a towel around his waist.
"Hey you got a washing machine? I just need to throw my shirt in."
Even more shocking then is lack of clothes was how natural this felt, like we'd roomed together for years and this was a sight I saw all the time.
"Yeah give it here, I'll go toss it in. You need anything else, like a tooth brush for your nasty breath?" I teased. He was making me wash his shirt, he deserved it.
"Nah Rosie, I'm good thanks. Don't worry by the way I stopped back at my hotel and brushed my teeth just for you." He winked a wicked grin on his face, and he threw me the shirt and headed back into the bathroom to blow dry his hair as we both laughed.
We went on getting ready side by side until his shirt was all clean and we headed out.
We roamed for a while, goofing off until we got hungry and stopped at a pizza place.
"I'm gonna have to introduce you to my band mates soon. I told 'em all about you today and they want to meet you."
Richie said, shoving a slice of pepperoni pizza into his mouth.
"Aww you mentioned me? That's so sweet." I said genuinely flattered. So this really did mean something to him. My mind was racing with what he could have possibly told his band mates.
"How could I not? Last night was amazing. I couldn't stop thinking about you all day, there wasn't anything else I wanted to talk about. Plus they were gonna meet you eventually considering the fact that we're gonna be around each other so much from now on." He said this all boldly, not a speck of red in his cheeks, like he was proud and so sure of our friendship.
Butterflies flooded my stomach and I couldn't be happier at those words.
"I'm glad you feel the same way." I smiled and grabbed hold of his hand, not even caring that both of ours were covered in pizza grease.
After finishing our food we had another hour to kill before I had to get ready for work so we walked some more, his arm around my shoulders.
"So I heard you singing in the shower today. You sounded great." I grabbed hold of the hand that was dangling over my shoulder, playing with his rings.
"Thanks you really thought so? I'm just so lucky that I have this love and talent for music, not to sound overly confident, I've just worked really hard to get where I'm at. And now that Bon Jovi is getting signed... I can't believe it. I can't wait for you to hear us. Jon's got a great stage presence, Tico and David got the best rhythms, their cool, you'll love 'em." He looked so dreamy and far off talking about his music, like it took him to a completely different place.
"I hope one day I find something that I really love. Now that I've got you I have someone to share my time with, but there's still something missing. A hobby, a job, a goal. I just don't know."
"Don't worry, you'll find it." I looked over see a look of gentle assurance on his face, so much kindness in his eyes. In that moment I felt more sure of myself than I ever had before.AN: I hope anyone reading this enjoyed it<3 Stay tuned for more
