I'd just finished my shift and was walking down the dark streets, a few but not too many people roaming around, looking for some fun. After leaving home I pursued the only career I could think of: stripping.
You made good money and the job barely required anything. As long as the men love you, you're good.
Anyways I was walking to my apartment and it was about 3am when somebody bumped me from behind. I whipped around to see the most gorgeous guy I'd ever laid eyes on leaning over to pick up his hat which must have fallen off when he rammed into my back. He had long, dark hair, chocolate brown eyes, soft full lips, and a strong dimpled chin. He wore a leather jacket and some leather pants that hugged his legs perfectly.
"Sorry about that." he awkwardly apologized after we both looked each other over.
Holy crap this guy was checking me out!
"No prob." I replied, flashing a smile that I hoped was attractive. I wasn't a master of flirtation, but if I could woo a bunch of men for my job, I could at least try and flirt with him.
"I'm Richie by the way." He tipped his hat and gave me a goofy grin back.
"Im Rosemary."
"Hey I'm trying to find something to do. My band mates are out at some crappy bar and I couldn't stand it in there. I know it's a little weird since we just met, but would you like to hang for a while?" Richie asked cooly.
A normal person wouldn't have even had the guts to say that, but his charisma and shining eyes made it seem so natural I couldn't say no.
I was exhausted from work, but this seemed too good an opportunity to pass up. The only guys I got were at the club when I was dancing. Now that I wasn't half naked and caked in makeup, I wanted to see how things went with a decent guy.
We ended up just walking and talking for a while, occasionally stopping to get a drink or some food. I found out he was a guitar player for a band that just got signed, and that he loved music more than anything else. I was almost afraid to tell him my occupation, but he simply responded with a head nod and said "cool."
I'd never connected with a complete stranger so well, that by 6am we seemed like best friends. Regretfully, I told him I had to go home and get some rest, to which he yawned and asked "Me too, it ok if I crash at your place? The hotel is so far from here."
"Of course!" I answered gleefully and we made our way back to my apartment.
I unlocked the door, in awe that he still wanted to be in my presence. I couldn't even contain my smile, I was so happy. I didn't get out much because of my weird work hours. Plus it's hard to keep friends in this business. One day some ones there and the next their checking into rehab or running off to God knows where.
"I'll just crash on the couch." Richie mumbled, already half asleep.
"No, no take the bed, you're the guest." I hurriedly tidied up the place, looking for the extra blanket and pillows.
He grabbed the pillow and blanket, collapsing on the couch.
"No it's ok, I'm already intruding enough, id feel too bad taking away your room. It's ok, really." He insisted when he saw me starting to offer my room again.
"Ok suit yourself." I yawned.
He playfully slapped my leg as I went by.
"Thanks Rosemary, I'll see ya in a couple of hours." and he was out, already snoring before I could say a word.
I sluggishly made my way into my room, a smile on my face as I drifted off.AN: Thanks for reading the first chapter! I hoped you guys liked it :) I decided to write this because there was barely any Richie fan-fiction on here and I wanted to post a good quality one. Feed back is appreciated!
