This part of my life....is where it started going down hill.

My dad was getting worse. My mom had her leg amputated and was in and out of the hospital. My sister ran away. I almost failed high school.

But first, I'll continue with the story of Phoebe. The question.

"I think you're funny, handsome, cute, etc. My Sweetheart dance is coming up next weekend and I don't have a date. My mom said I should ask you if you'd go with me....so will you?"

The reason I think it was odd is because her mom suggested it. So to me, she didn't want to go with me but because she wanted a date she listened to her mom.

Nevertheless, we started dating that night. So I guess it went well.

We didn't really go to each other's houses. But when we did we just watched TV. Except a few times when I went to her house, I played video games with her dad. His name was Tim.

She had two younger twin sisters. They got annoying. But we ended up having a "Friday gang hang". Which consisted of Phoebe and I, Cole and Emily and another Emily. Soon though the other Emily started dating another friend of ours named Justin.

We would get together every Friday and either watch a movie, play games, go eat or do something. It was always interesting.

Now, Emily and Emily were both in band as well as Cole. But Phoebe wasn't. She was in color guard. You know, the people who twirl flags to the music....

Anyways, that year we both went to Disney World but at separate times and different reasons.

I went (for the second year in a row) with the band. Every four years the band would go for "Days of Music" there. The parade was in Magic Kingdom but we went to every park. And on the first day we went to Orlando Resort.

A few weeks later Phoebe went with her family for vacation. I was fine because I had Cole to hang out with. But we ended up fighting because her ex kept trying to get with her and she would tease him and lead him on.

The week she was there was the start of our declining relationship. And it was all because of her ex. She started hanging out with him again, eating with him at lunch and what not. And it was worse because he was in band and because she was a flag twirler they were together alot.

The week of her homecoming, which also happened to be the week of my birthday, I broke up with her. I couldn't handle the whole leading on another guy thing.

So I broke it off.
