The Chosen Ones [short story]

Visiting the Oracle

HARRY-

We soon  packed up to go to the near by shrine of apollo where rachel was. I gotta admit I had heard of my brother and rachel's. ..adventures and was curios to meet her. Of course I didn't doubt percy's loyalty to annabeth but curiosity kills the cat eh? 

The journey was surprisingly not too bad..We encountered only 2 minor demons which was pretty suspicious. It's like chaos wanted us to get to rachel.If so..why?

Thankfully the journey we took in a car and we took only half a day to reach there.We bought offerings with us.We had lots of food which we had packed specifically to offer at all shrines and  we pass which was quite a few.

Finally we reach apollo's shrine and were shocked at the scene .The shrine was completely destroyed!

A young girl was busy trying to put the shrine back in place and she didn't even notice us.We stepped in and percy's called out," uh rach?  Hi..who did this?Can we help ya? Oh by the way..This is my twin, Harry and we need your help." Rachel had jumped and turned to us at percy's first two words."Gosh percy Jackson!  You do not go around and  scare people like that! And thus was choas' s work and of u are visiting me the Oracle you probably are too busy to help me.Thanks but I can handle it ..oh by the way, Heya harry.thank god  you guys don't look alike ." She ranted off "Hey"i managed to mutter."we need to know how voldemort  amd geae still live and how can we defeat this bad trio." "Oh okay. Let me see ." Rachel murmed and closed her eyes.When she opened them, they had changed color.

"Oh brave heroes, Voldemort has a hocrux in a young boy , a boy with a identical twin.He must be killed by choas to stop Voldemort. The death of one will kill the other and without the two, the third can be killed by a silver stake." She rattled away in a wispy voice and then she fell.We caught her in time and in a few seconds her eyes opened- now normal . "Did you get it?" She asked. "Yeah.thanks a million." We both chimed together and grinned at each other after seeing rachel's horror face. "This happens loads ." percy  said non commitedly. "But you should rest rach.While we on the other hand have a war to win." He continued , his face going from amused to grim. "We can percy ..relax."I reassured my brother

Soon we set off to go back home.When we  reach  we were greeted by hugs and kisses from our girlfriends apparently as a price for coming back early and in time for dinner. "Hmm...so what price will I get when I win the war dearest ginny?  Maybe a nice night alone in my old apartment? " I whispered in her ear which turned red but I held back my amusement to have some more "Shut up " she muttered. "What?! You give me a price for coming home early..what about for winning a war?  I do deserve a price right? Oh and coming back early awards?  That's something I could get used to too. " I wiggled my eyebrows and chuckled with amusement when her face became a adorable tomato. I swooped down and gave her a swift kiss before putting my arms around her waist as we headed to the dining hall though I had a feeling I was forgetting something.hmm.

Not a minute later, I got my answer.i heard a "shut up percy! " from behind , a very red annabeth and a laughing percy coming towards us.Ahh I had forgotten my brother. Oops .From their expression I could tell percy had had his own fun and we both grinned at each other and winked in understanding.

Soon we reach the dining hall and exchanged stories with everyone which put them all in better spirits. We too sat there eating a lovely dinner. After all, we Finally had a strong and huge  chance to win.
