Preface

It's my debut as a "serious" author. And first time, writing something that you probably won't understand if you ignore reading this part.

Before You Read

● Basic Info About Ninjas

Ninjas are believed to exist during the Heian Period (14 Century, Japan). Their main functions were; spying, guerilla warfare, assassination
Infiltration, etc and worked under feudal lords and the Emperor.

The Ninjas lived in 2 main clans;

Iga Clan
Koga Clan

Both of the clans didn't share a very good relation though but somehow managed to coexist.

In the unrest of the Sengoku period (15th-17th centuries), mercenaries and spies for hire became active in the Iga Province and the adjacent area around the village of Koga,and it is from the area's clans that much of our knowledge of the ninja is drawn. Following the unification of Japan under the Tokugawa shogunate (17th century), the ninja faded into obscurity.

The skills required of the ninja has come to be known in modern times as ninjutsu (忍術), but it is unlikely they were previously named under a single discipline, but were rather distributed among covered espionage and survival skills.

My ninja, Kinohara Kanzou【感情木ノ原】 belongs to Iga Clan. Begins his training at a very early age and and works for the Emperor of Ashiwara Clan when he attains his adulthood.

The novel probably won't contain very precised description of ninja life, but I have tried my best.

All characters mentioned are entirely fictional, any resemblence to a person living or dead is coincidental.
