I stumbled upon this story a few days ago, giddy because I'd finally found an undiscovered LGBT Fantasy that swept me away. It's a lovely story, captivating and deliciously heartwarming. Korin is a wonderful character with all his almost naive idealism, but as all great characters, he grows and stretches. Ádan is just the right amount of mysterious, and his story unravels as the novel progresses.
I could not put this story down! And, I've started to read the sequel...so now I'm eagerly awaiting updates. I love how the world Barbara creates is far from black and white. The intrigue is intelligent and keeps me on my toes.
If you're a lover of tales and magic, then you have to read this one. <-- no joke
