Listless 《nagisa》

It was that time of the year again.
you sighed heavily.

summer.

normally people would jump around excitedly when it's near or when it's actually already that time of the year.

Although for you, it's the most boring season.

You didn't have that many friends that you can just hangout with. Your parents are always on a business trip so it's no use talking to them.
Your Siblings (if you have none dats okiee) were already in college and had exams coming up thus not being able to come home this time.

You were watching a movie, not the slightest bit of interest is shown on your face. Your body is plopped unto the large comfy sofa, with your head resting on the arm-rest.

Standing up, you noticed that you dropped your phone and quickly picked it up to place it on the coffee table.

The kitchen was so messy but you didn't care.

"I'll clean this later..." you murmured to yourself before yawning.

Taking out a bag of (fave. chips)
and some cold drink; you went back to the living room.

As if on cue, you heard the doorbell ring. Placing your snack on the table, you went to check who was on the door.

"hello, (y/n)-chan!" nagisa greeted.

"hello, nagisa- umm would you like to come in?"you offered whilst clearing space for him in the doorway.

"sure." he smiled.

You sat at the sofa, patting the seat next to you so as to ask him to sit there.

complete silence.it was getting awkward.

......

"hey (y/n)- chan, do you have any plans today?" he asked

"not really, why do you ask?"
you said stoic faced.

"i was hoping if you could accompany me to the festival later this evening."
he looked to the side.

" that's fine by me, but what do you think i should wear?"
you continued to munch on the chips.

" I'm sure a yukata would look great on you~~" he murmured
but you didn't quite get him so you asked him again

"what?" you said

" i said that-- umm anything is cool." he said almost panicking .

"oh okay. i guess I'll try wearing that yukata that i bought recently." you stared back at the tv.

' is the gods with me right now? it must be cuz I'm soooooooooo happpyy gsjandhqjkhdjskamsjz' nagisa thought.

"-gisa, nagisa kunn , NAGISA KUN!!!" nagisa snapped back to reality as (y/n) slapped him across the face.

she sighed.
"i thought you were dead."

"really? I'm so sorry." he said

"I'm sorry too, btw what time does the festival start? " you glanced at the clock, it read ; 6:58 pm.

" the festival? oh yeah, it starts at 7:30. why?"

your eyes widened.

less than 30 minutes to prepare? how do you even--

you rushed to your room and quickly placed thr yukata on and decided to tie your hair up on a bun.You got your things and checked the time.7:14?
good.

you went down to see nagisa staring at you, slightly jaw dropping and you instantly became self conscious.

"s-shall we go?" he asked.

you nodded.

"there sure are many people around us." you said

"yeah. i know." as he dragged you across the stalls.

"can we buy some takoyaki? I'm getting hungry."your stomach growled along.

"sure thing and since i was the one that invited you...please let me pay for it" he replied

your eyes sparkled.
"r-really? thank you nagisa! that's so nice of you~"

"no problem" he grinned

*after buying*

" ooooh these are hot! just the way i like them to be-- ouch!" you flinched as the heat of the takoyaki pained your mouth.

"are you okay (y/n)?you should be more careful ya know? i don't want you to get hurt. here, you should first blow on it so it won't be that hot.say ahhh" he did as he said and fed you his takoyaki.

you blushed through the whole thing. not only is it your first time being fed by another person, it had to be your crush! thisssss is the best dayyyyyy

you continued going around , buying stuff like masks, and playing games that got you a plushie of a polar bear.

soon you got tired and you asked nagisa to settle down at a secluded area for a while.

you really needed fresh air.

" soo (y/n), did you like the festival? " he asked as you both sat down in a cozy spot under a tree, resting your backs on it.

"like it? i love it !!" you cheerfully grinned at him.

"w-would you consider doing it again? i mean --- you don't have to if you don't wanna...."
he looked down as he said the last part.

"are you saying like as a couple??? i.... i would L O V E TOO ! i didn't expect that you would like me too so i played it safe and just be friends with you..." you blushed furiously as tears of joy ran down your soft cheeks.

" huh? na-nagisa ku--" you were dumbstruck as nagisa went closer and closer until his lips landed on your cheek.

" thank you... (y/n)... for liking me back, you make me so happy " he said after the soft peck.

you smiled.

Summer isn't that bad after all.
