Sean had left a little more than an hour ago. I was alone in his apartment with nothing to do. I texted Sean and asked him what his Netflix log in was. I knew he had one because he left it up on his computer when I got on it. While I waited for him to text me back, I made a bowel of popcorn and then cuddled in his bed with the laptop laying on my lap.

Sean finally texted me his login almost an hour later. I had already finished my popcorn and was now sitting on the couch. I put the information in. The first thing that popped up was his recently watched list. There was Criminal Minds, The Fosters, Vampire Diaries, and tons more chick flick shows and movies. I clicked The Fosters and started it from the beginning of the season. The show started with this girl, Callie, getting the shit beaten out of her in juvie. She ended up with a busted lip and bruises all along her sides. Callie was sent to a foster home that already had 3 kids living in it. 2 of the 3 kids had been in the foster system, but they were adopted. This show was pretty interesting. It would probably keep me busy until Sean got home.

Sean had been gone for a few hours. I was kind of getting nervous. In the last 2 hours that I have been alone, I've watched half of a season of The Fosters and called Sean over 20 times. He told me he would be back soon, but that was almost 3 hours ago. I called his cell one more time, but it went straight to voicemail. A million thoughts were going through my mind. Then I thought to myself. Maybe he was with Dylan. Sean never did tell me where he was going. I went through my contacts list in my phone and clicked his name. The phone was dialing. Dylan answered on the 3rd ring. "Hey," I said into my phone. On the line, it sounded like he was at a party. "Dylan," I said again. He didn't respond again. I just ended up just ending the call. There was a knock at my door. I got up off the couch and walked over to the door. Another knock then came from the door. Before a third knock, I unlocked and opened the door. Standing in the hallway of the apartment complex were two police officers.

"Can I help you?" I asked. They both off their hats and held them in their hands.

"Are you Madison Avery?" One of the officers asked.

My hands were shaking a little bit. "Yes, I am. Is there something wrong?"

"We hate to inform you like this but your boyfriend Sean Anderson is in the hospital." When the officer said that, my mouth dropped open.

"Where is he?" I asked the officer.

The other officer replied, "Memorial Hospital."

"Thank you," I told the officers and ran back into the apartment. I found my keys on the counter and ran out of the door, not locking it behind me. Then police officers that were there had left. I unlocked my truck and got in. My trembling fingers made it harder for me to start the car. I finally calmed myself down enough to put the key in the ignition.

While driving to the hospital, I called Tessa. She didn't answer and the phone went to voicemail. She was probably getting drunk with Dylan. I left her a voicemail saying that Sean was in the hospital and to meet me there when she could.

I finally made it to Memorial Hospital. I turned off my truck and ran into the hospital almost hitting a few people that were walking too slow. The lady at the front counter was reading 50 Shades of Grey. She didn't look up when I got there.  "I'm looking for Sean Anderson," I told the lady. She looked up from her book.

"Sean who?" She asked. This lady didn't listen to me the first time.

   "Sean Anderson," I sighed.

"Let me look through the records," she went to flipping through files that were beside her. The lady finally stopped and pulled a file out. They must have had a ton of people in here today, I thought to myself. The lady finally spoke. " Sean is currently in surgery. You need to wait out here till he gets done." The lady went back to her book. I just found the nearest chair and sat down.
