Sean gets to leave the hospital today. Josie and I have been getting the apartment ready for him. Sean and I have been working with the Social Worker on adopting Josie. Josie has now been with us for a few days. Well shes been with me since Sean is in the hospital. The two of them have been getting really close every time we go visit him.

Josie has been sleeping with me in Sean's bed until the Social Worker can help us get one. She already has given us a car seat for Josie. With Sean not going to be able to work for a while, he's going to stay with her and I'm going to get a job and go to school. It's the best that we can do. We talk and talk about what is best for her. I'm thinking we are going to adopt Josie.

I walk into the kitchen and pull out a carton of eggs and a frying pan. Josie was still sleeping. I was hungry and I would wake her up when the eggs were done. She loves when I make scrambled eggs. Those are her favorite. She reminds me of me when I was 3. Playing with Barbies, dressing up like a princess, and having tea parties. Josie even has her own princess plates that we bought on our way home the first day that I had her. Her favorite princess is Cinderella.

As I was still making the eggs, Josie came running in. She was wearing one of Sean's t-shirts. The Social Worker is going to let me go into her old house and pack up all of her things. Clothes, shoes, and toys because I have nothing for a 3 year old. She came over to where I was standing and looked up. "Eggs?"she asked.

"Yes Miss Josie, I am making eggs,"I say. I pick her up and set her on the counter. "Where is Mr. Piggy?" I asked. Mr. Piggy is the toy that Sean bought her from the gift shop. She has him with her everywhere. It's her security toy.

         "He's in the bedroom,"She said.

"Then you go get him while I put your eggs on a plate," I tell her and put her back onto the floor.            Josie runs into the room and I pull the plates down. Using a spatula I gave Josie a little bit. She doesn't eat a lot but she might ask for seconds if she is really hungry. She comes running back into the kitchen with her stuffed pig. I pick her up and set her on a stool and put her eggs in front of her. She takes her hands and starts digging in. I would give her a fork but it's just too cute. I eat my eggs as she is finishing up with hers. When we are both done, I put the plates in the sink. Right now I'm too tired to do the dishes. I'll do them tonight after dinner.

Josie and I are getting ready to go pick up Sean. He will be in a wheelchair for awhile. The lobby dude at the entrance to the apartment let us have a key to the elevator. Only certain people can have a key like old people who can't walk well, Moms with strollers, people who have been in an accident and can't walk on their own, and the really rich people that live in the apartment. Sean sure did pick a great apartment for himself to live in.

Josie and I walked downstairs. The lobby man was sitting at the counter.  His name read Derek, "Are you going to bring Sean home today?" He asked.

"Yes sir. Josie has been dying for him to come home," I say and laugh a little.

"That's good to hear. I'll see you folks later,"He says and goes back onto his computer that was sitting at the desk.

Josie and I walk outside and too my waiting truck. I open the door for her and pick up. She climbs into her seat from the floor board. I buckle up the seat belt in her car seat then put the truck seat belt in its loop to hold the car seat in place.  I close her door then I go open mine.

The radio was on as I turned the key in the ignition.  Josie started to dance. She loves dancing and it's really adorable. I sing all the songs in my best voice while she wiggles in her car seat to the beat. It's what we always do. The song that was currently playing is Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots. It was the latest hit and everyone knew the song.
