She was breathing hard, and deep circles of red burned high on her bright cheeks; in all my life I had never seen anyone so maddeningly beautiful as she was at that moment.
But she was dying, or at least I thought.
But then I saw a glimmer in her eyes, a twitch of the her lip, and she looked up at me and muttered something that made me question everything that just happened, "Break the camera." I was confused.
But when I looked around the room to see what she was taking about I saw a tiny camera in the corner of the room. I looked at it with hatred. I grabbed a knife from the table next to me and threw it at it, making it burst into a thousand tiny pieces.
I looked back over at to she her head with lifted.
"Take the knife out of me."
"No, you'll die from blood loss!" I say walking over to her. She made a face.
"I'm immortal. Immortals can't die."
"That makes no sense! If immortals can't die then how did the old queen die?" I asked in disbelief.
"Fuck, I don't know? Ask me later, I can't think right now. Take the knife out now or it's not going to heal properly!" She yelled at me. I grimaced as I pulled the knife out fast, thinking it wouldn't hurt as much.
I was wrong. She gave me a look of desperation but shrugged it off.
"Get me down." I obeyed, untying her, gagging at the unpleasant sight of her torn hands. She shot me a look and I shut up.
"So if your immortal, how come none of your other cuts have healed yet?" I asked not understanding.
She looked down at all the blood stains her clothes had, and she lifted her shirt up to show me there was no wound, just the stains.
"Now can you stop asking question so we can get the hell out of here?" She hissed at me.
"Wait I have one more, why'd you make me stab you?"
"Because I knew they were watching, but I also know that you-and if I were really dead you would find the camera and throw a knife at it anyways. So they still think I'm dead and they won't come back down here until tomorrow. Glad to have you back by the way." She smirked at me and my stomached turned.
"I've missed you." I say giving her a slow smile.
"You didn't know me." She scoffs, but smiled to herself anyway.
"I knew something about you, your voice. Thank god, it was the only thing keeping me sane with driving me insane.." She shacks her head laughing.
"Enough with the reunion, we need to get out of here." She went over to the door and stared at the door handle intensly.
She hasn't changed much from the last time I saw her, besides for the fact she was covered in blood and hadn't showered for who knows how long, she was still the same. With beautiful eyes and a wide smile that spread a crossed her face, she was the same but different. She was the girl I feel in love with, not the girl who claimed to have taken my spot in the relationship.
"How did you do it, not give up that is?" I asked walking over to her, she didn't look up at me but continued to stare at the door handle.
"Oh, well, my pain is the was where I was in between remembering and forgetting. Wanting to let go but never moving forward. I didn't expect it to hurt so much, you know? Trying to remember something that you don't even know existed. It sucked."
"Yeah I do know..." I mutter to myself, but I jump back shocked when the door handle bursts, thousands of tiny pieces of metal flew everywhere. The door flew open fast, like and unknown force pushed it hardly. "What the fuck!" She turned to me quickly, putting her finger to her lips. Confused I looked at her trying to figure out what happened
