STILL KING
"Cameron we've been walking for too long!!!" I whined. I fell to the ground in dramatic effect, making her smile down at me. I groaned, a smile spreading across my face.
"Too bad. We should have taken a car but it's no use to go back now.. And besides its good exercise." She reached her hand out to me and I put mine in hers.
I couldn't help but notice the little gleam in her eye when our hands touched. She pulled me up, struggling, but still she got me up.
"You have to carry me." I pout, she looks down at the ground, examining a rock she came across, but I knew that's not what she was really thinking about.
"No."
"Oh shit, I just got rejected." I laugh at my own reflection harder than I should have. She didn't even chuckle. I sighed and sat down again, looking up at her.
"Come on we can't just sit here we have to go." Cameron urged. I shook my head and I saw a flare of anger flick through her eyes. "King come on." I didn't move from my position and I could feel the frustration rolling off her. "KING GET UP!" She yelled at me.
But still I sat there and did nothing. She stared down at me, running her hands through her hair, sometimes grabbing a handful and tugging. I felt the need to tell her to stop, to stop hurting herself and beating herself up, but I let her continue. Knowing this is the only way for her to realize that wasn't going to help anything.
"You're just so.. UGH! And I'm so...UGH. Why...why didn't you tell me." I was chilled from the sudden softness of her voice, but when I looked up I knew she was beyond mad.
"Why didn't I tell you what?" I asked slowly, as if I was saying it to a crazed dog.
"THAT YOU'RE A MURDER!" She screamed the words so loud that I'm surprised the next door neighbors didn't hear. I stood up fast, sudden noises frighten me. Not only that, but they aggravate me. "YOU MURDERED THEM AND I WATCHED-"
"Cameron stop yelling."
"AND YOU LIKED IT! YOU LOOKED AT THEIR DEAD BODIES-"
"Cameron stop fucking yelling right now." I inched closer to her so I was in her face. She was getting on my nerves. She stood on the tips of her toes and continued.
"AND SMILED." I covered her mouth and slammed her up against a tree. She looked at me, shocked but then covered it up with a blank face.
"I told you to stop yelling." I whispered. She narrowed her eyes and just when I was about to move my hand she bit it.
I gasped and pulled my hand back looking at the blood dripping down from it. I looked back up at her, anger radiating off of me. I grabbed her shoulders and pushed her up against the tree again, only this time with less force.
"What the fuck Cameron?" I growled. She stiffened and looked down. Tears formed at the corner of her eyes and I was stunned. Was she going it cry?
Had I hurt her? I mean there's no way...at least not as much as she hurt me.
"I'm sorry, hey don't cry." I forced her to look up at me with my words and she gave me a look of hate. My stomach twisted into a knot and I waited for her to talk.
"I hate you." She kneed my 'bad spot' and watched me fall to the ground.
I clenched my jaw, taking in the pain. I breathed through my teeth, waiting for the pain to lessen before I talked.
Immediately she must have felt bad because she was by my side within second. She rested my head on her lap and looked down at me.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what's gotten into me lately." I sat up a little resting on my elbows. Forgetting about my hurt dick, I leaned up making our lips gently touch.
