"I love you..." Ten-Ten confessed.
Neji's eyebrow twitched.
"What...the...hell..." he thought bitterly.
How he ended up in this situation, you ask? Well...
FLASHBACK
"Neji-kun...onegai..." Ten-ten's father begged.
"Uncle, she's a girl.." Neji said.
"I know...but you're the only one I can trust.."
"Erm.."
"Hizashi already agreed to this..."
"W-What?? He agreed without even asking me?!"
"Sorry...but please...let her stay with you for just a month...I can't leave her alone in the house. I can't book a hotel for her, she's under-aged. You're the only option." He explained.
"Alright...alright.."
Ten-Ten's father's eyes brightened.
"Thank you very much, Neji-kun." He exclaimed.
END OF FLASHBACK
Neji sighed.
"Neji-kun...dinner time!"
"Ah..." he answered as he stood up from the couch and sat on one of the chairs around the dining table.
"Thanks for the food." He muttered and started eating.
"How is it?" Ten-Ten cheerfully asked.
"Delicious..."
"Glad you like it." She smiled warmly.
"How can you make something so....edible?"
"It always turns out this way if you're doing it for the one you love.." she answered.
"A-ah..I see..." he stuttered.
When they finished eating, Ten-Ten did the dishes as Neji took a shower.

"Ten-Ten?" Neji called out as he came out of the shower with a towel on his head.
Ten-Ten looked up from the book she was reading.
"Yes?"
"I'll be home late tomorrow, don't bother waiting for me okay?"
"Oh...okay..."
"Ja, oyasumi."
"Aishiteru."
He sighed as he heard her response and went to his room.
NEXT DAY
As usual, they would walk to school together. (A/N: Forgot to tell you, Ten-Ten is a Junior highschool student and Neji is a Sophomore college student.)
"See ya!" Ten-Ten said as she waved her hands signalling "good-bye".
"See ya." Neji replied.
"Oi oi!" a voice snapped Neji out of his thoughts.
"What was that, huh?"
"What?"
"Walking with one of the hottest girls in school together??" Sasuke smirked.
"Ten-Ten? One of the hottest girls in school? She just transferred last week." Neji asked.
"She is. Together with your cousin Hinata. Troublesome." Shikamaru said.
