As I sat on the kitchen island, I noticed my hands and how they were shaking.

Thinking that this was a sign of dehydration, I grabbed a glass of water only for it to slip out of my hands and onto the marble floor.

"Fuck", I swore loudly.

I hurriedly grabbed a broom and a dust pan to sweep the pieces.

"I better hide this from Gabriel or else I'll get my ass beaten again"

I grabbed the garbage bag from the trash can and head out for the garbage disposal.

I walk back to the apartment and shut the door behind me.

I lit up a cigarette and sat down by the window to gaze upon the passersby. 

I was down to my last cig before I heard the door unlocking.

I stood up to greet him.

He kissed my cheek before taking off his shoes and went for the kitchen.

"Fucking hell!" He exclaimed.

I went to check up on what happened and was greeted by a puddle of blood on the floor.

"Why was a glass shard on the floor, Sue?" He asked.

"I honestly don't know Gabe... I.." 

"Count the glasses."

"What?" I asked confused.

"I said count the fucking glasses! Are you deaf or are you just stupid?" He boomed.

I went over to the cupboard and counted the glasses, "11." I said.

"We had a dozen glasses. And why do you think we would lose one?"

"I..." I shuddered in fear.

"You're a good for nothing piece of shit, you know that? All you had to do was at least sweep the floor and actually make sure it was free of shards and you still couldn't fucking do that. What kind of an idiot are you?"

I just whimpered in shame and fear.

He gestured me over and I complied.

He raised his hand and smacked me across the face.

"It's the shit you do that makes me wonder why I still keep you alive"

Pretty depressing. We're almost to the pre-chorus and chorus guys omg will this book even reach 10 parts? I hope so.
