Hi guys. I'm sorry for not updating in over three months but I wasn't feeling the story anymore. Luckily I got back into it and I wrote you guys a looong chapter. I hope you enjoy it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

"Mom, Dad?"

"Hey, honey."

"Umm hi. What are you guys doing here?"

"Well it's nice to meet you too, Blake."

"Sorry it's just so unexpectedly."

"Why? We told you we would come this weekend."

"I totally forgot about it."

"Just come here and give your mom a hug."

Blake hugged his mom and I literally saw the sweat dripping down his neck. He was just as nervous as I was.

"And who is this young lady here?"

"I'm Dana."

"Nice to meet you Dana. I'm Gail and this is Tommy. We're Blake's parents. And who are you, sweetie?"

"I'm just Blake's-"

"She's my girlfriend."

"Oh my goodness, Blake, why haven't you told us earlier? I would have brought something."

"We're still kind of new."

"Well I'm glad to meet you, Dana."

"Yes, me too." Blake's dad said.

We stood there for a few seconds without saying anything. To say it was awkward would be an understatement.

"You know what. Why don't you guys go sit down and I'll make us dinner?" Gail said.

"Yes and I'll help you."

Blake looked at me and smiled. Gail and I went into the kitchen and started preparing dinner.

"So tell me a bit about you, Dana. I want to get to know you."

"Umm there's not really much to say about me."

"There must be. How old are you?"

I knew that this would be coming.

I thought about what to say. Should I lie or should I tell her the truth? Seconds had passed since she asked me the question and I was starting to get a lump in my throat.

"Twe-twenty one."

"Did you already graduate from college?"

"Umm, no, actually I'm still going to college."

"Oh I just thought you graduated because of the gown there."

She pointed to my gown laying on top of a chair.

Sh#t!

"Umm that's not mine...I just picked it up for a friend."

"Oh, so what are you studying?"

"I'm studying media studies."

"So you want to work on television some day."

"Hopefully."

"That's nice. I mean you got the face for it. You're very pretty."

"Thank you. I can just return the compliment."

"Oh no, I'm getting older and older. I wish I was your age again. There are some things I would like to do which I can't do now."

"That would be?"
