Chapter 13--Jealousy

*THE NEXT DAY*

Today is the day I'm finally allowed to walk without my crutches. I made my way to the gym and sat down on one of the benches. Since I can't take part in basketball practice because I still have my gypsum, I decided to just watch. And so I don't have to go to biology class.
Next to me sat Chris Carter. The by far best looking guy in our school.
"Hey. Dana, right?"

"Oh uuhm yeah, Chris, right?"

"Yes. How are you, I see you don't need your crutches anymore?"

"I'm good. Yeah I just have to be careful." I said suspicious as to why he talks to me.

"When I heard from your car accident I was really worried."

By the time Blake came in and saw me. He immediately began to smile.

"Thanks. But since when do you talk to me?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you're one of the most popular and good looking boys in school."

He began to laugh which caught Blakes attention.

"Well you are quite good looking and hot, too."

"Thanks." I said blushing.

Chris and I talked the whole time which clearly pissed Blake off.

We were walking towards the door.

"Soo uhm Dana, I wanted to ask you this for a long time, if you're not busy this weekend I would like to take you out on a date?

I couldn't even answer because Blake suddenly appeared behind Chris.

"Hey you two."

"Hey?" I asked

"Dana I need to talk to you, about your ankle."

"About my ankle?"

"Yeah" He said glaring at me.

I mouthed 'bye' to Chris and Blake and I went to his office and he closed the door.

"What was that?!"

"What was what?"

"You flirted in front of me with him. I thought we're together."

"Oh my god. Blake this is me. I'm not that kind of person who has a boyfriend for a few days and then doesn't talk to any guy or even look at them and I think my boyfriend should respect that. Plus I would never go out with him when I have you."

Blake calmed down a bit and smiled.

"Ok, I guess I overreacted. I'm just a little jealous because he's more your age and you can be seen with him in public."

"Aww Blake. You have no reason to be jealous." If someone has to be jealous then it's me, because of Brynn!

"And besides I would only date him if you are out of town." I said laughing.

"Oh wait you won't be laughing long." He said coming towards me. He put his hands on my stomach and began to tickle me.

"Aaahh hahahah Blake stop it please ahhh hahahahah."

"I don't know. I mean I have to go out of town in a month and I don't know if I can trust you."

"Ok ok. I'm of course not going out with someone while we're together. And now please let me go."
